JOB DESCRIPTIONE-commerce Manager/Amazon & Marketplace Performance Marketing Manager

Location: Delhi NCR
Reports To: Business Head – E-Commerce India & Global
Experience: 4–8+ years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

Looking for a hands-on Amazon Advertising & Marketplace Performance Marketing expert who will be responsible for driving monthly sales targets, marketplace growth and profitability across India and international markets.

The candidate will manage and optimize advertising across Amazon India and international Amazon marketplaces, including: USA | UK | Canada | Australia | Europe

The candidate should also have practical experience with Flipkart and Myntra advertising/marketing.

This is a hands-on ownership role. The candidate should be capable of planning campaigns, analyzing data, optimizing bids and budgets, identifying growth opportunities and taking corrective actions independently to achieve monthly sales targets.

The candidate will also be expected to mentor the marketplace team and work closely with business, catalogue, creative, warehouse, finance and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Monthly Sales Target Ownership

· Work with the Business Head to establish monthly sales, advertising and profitability targets.

· Develop monthly advertising and marketplace growth plans to achieve targets.

· Track daily and weekly performance against monthly targets.

· Identify gaps between Target vs Actual Sales and take immediate corrective action.

· Reallocate budgets across products, campaigns and marketplaces based on performance.

· Build recovery plans whenever monthly targets are at risk.

· Take ownership of the advertising contribution towards achieving overall monthly business targets.

2. Amazon PPC – India & Global

· Plan, launch and manage Amazon PPC campaigns across India and international marketplaces.

· Manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, keyword and ASIN/product targeting.

· Build and optimize Auto, Broad, Phrase and Exact campaigns.

· Conduct keyword research, search-term analysis and negative keyword management.

· Optimize bids, budgets and campaign structures.

· Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns and products.

· Reduce wasted advertising spend and improve overall advertising efficiency.

Candidate should understand the differences in customer behaviour, competition, keywords, CPCs, pricing and advertising strategy across international markets.

Experience with Amazon Global Selling and FBA is strongly preferred.

4. Amazon SEO & Organic Growth

· Improve organic keyword rankings through PPC + SEO strategy.

· Conduct keyword and competitor research.

· Identify indexing and ranking opportunities.

· Work with the Catalogue/Content team on titles, bullets, backend keywords, A+ Content and images.

· Analyze Paid vs Organic Sales.

· Develop strategies to increase organic sales and reduce excessive advertising dependency.

5. Flipkart & Myntra

Manage and optimize marketplace advertising/marketing on:

Flipkart and Myntra

Including campaign planning, budget allocation, product visibility, promotions and performance analysis.

6. New Product & Seasonal Launches

· Create advertising strategies for new products.

· Plan launches and advertising budgets in advance.

· Develop strategies for festive, seasonal and promotional periods.

· Monitor traffic, CTR, CPC, conversion, orders, sales and keyword ranking.

7. Competitor & Market Analysis

Regularly monitor:

· Competitor products

· Competitor keywords

· Pricing

· Promotions

· Sponsored placements

· Reviews & ratings

· New product launches

· Market trends

Use insights to identify new growth and product opportunities.

8. Performance & Profitability

Monitor and improve:

· Sales

· Ad Sales

· Ad Spend

· ACoS

· ROAS

· TACoS

· BACoS

· Organic Sales

· Paid vs Organic Sales

· CTR

· CPC

· Conversion Rate

· Orders

· Keyword Ranking

· Product profitability

The objective is not simply to increase sales, but to achieve monthly targets while maintaining healthy advertising efficiency and profitability.

9. Inventory Management, Export & International Shipment Knowledge

The candidate should have a good working understanding of export shipments from India, particularly for e-commerce/international marketplace businesses.

Knowledge of:

· Export shipment processes from India

· FBA shipments to international marketplaces

· Commercial invoices

· Packing lists

· Shipping documentation

· Export documentation

· Courier/freight processes

· International logistics coordination

· Customs/export requirements

· Coordination with freight forwarders and logistics partners

will be strongly preferred.

The candidate does not need to be an export/logistics specialist, but should understand the overall process and be able to coordinate effectively with the relevant teams.

Qualification & ExperienceMust Have

· 4–8+ years of hands-on Amazon PPC / Marketplace Performance Marketing experience.

· Strong Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising Console experience.

· Proven experience managing Amazon India advertising.

· Proven experience with Amazon USA advertising.

· Strong experience with international Amazon marketplaces.

· Practical experience with UK, Canada, Australia and/or Europe.

· Experience with Flipkart advertising.

· Experience with Myntra marketing/advertising.

· Strong Excel / Google Sheets and data-analysis skills.

· Experience managing significant advertising budgets.

· Proven track record of achieving monthly sales targets.

· Experience managing or mentoring a team.

· Working knowledge of export shipments from India.

Preferred Industry Experience
