Duration: 3 to 6 Months

Role Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, articulate, and goal-oriented Sales Intern / Fresher to join our growth team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our services and prospective clients. You will identify business leads, establish meaningful client connections, and introduce solutions spanning intellectual assets, digital marketing, SEO, and online visibility strategies.

This is a high-growth learning opportunity designed for candidates wanting practical corporate exposure in both consultative sales and modern digital growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Research, identify, and qualify potential B2B/B2C leads across designated industry verticals.
Conduct targeted outreach through phone calls, email campaigns, professional networks (LinkedIn), and social channels.
Build and maintain a structured prospect database and sales pipeline.

2. Client Sales & Consultative Pitching

Engage prospective clients, understand their business needs, and communicate how IP Monger’s service portfolio adds direct value.
Schedule and participate in discovery calls, sales demonstrations, and pitch meetings.
Assist in negotiating terms and closing deals under the guidance of senior mentors.

3. Client Relationship Management

Act as the initial point of contact for onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into service delivery.
Maintain regular follow-ups, handle client queries promptly, and foster long-term commercial relationships.
Gather client feedback to help refine service offerings and customer satisfaction.

4. Digital Marketing & Brand Exposure

Leverage foundational knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, and Google Business Profile (GMB) during sales conversations to consult businesses on improving online visibility.
Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align lead generation campaigns with ongoing digital marketing initiatives.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

5. Reporting & Goal Tracking

Maintain daily call logs, outreach metrics, and pipeline status reports using spreadsheets and digital tools.
Meet and exceed weekly/monthly lead generation and client outreach targets.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, Commerce, Computer Applications, or any related field (Recent graduates or final-year students eligible).
Communication & Language Fluency:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Fluency in Hindi for effective domestic client interactions and phone calls.
Confident telephone presence, professional voice modulation, and business etiquette.
Computer Proficiency & Digital Literacy:
Sound working knowledge of basic computer operations.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Fast typing speed, effective email drafting capabilities, and sharp internet research skills.
Professional Demeanor: Well-groomed, professional in presentation, and capable of representing the company brand with poise.
Learning Agility: A fast learner with a keen appetite to grasp technical concepts, sales workflows, and digital marketing tools quickly.
Digital Awareness: Basic understanding or practical exposure to:
Digital marketing concepts
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) basics
Google My Business (GMB / Google Business Profile) optimization
Google Ads & Pay-Per-Click (PPC) fundamentals
Soft Skills: Active listening, resilience, self-motivation, persuasive pitching ability, and strong relationship-building instincts.

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications

Prior internship experience in tele-calling, inside sales, lead generation, or digital marketing agency environments.
Hands-on familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, LeadSquared) or lead-generation databases.
