Full job description

Role Summary

The Project Coordinator / Associate Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of Scaleios customer projects across Azure, Microsoft 365 and AWS. This is a dedicated project management role focused on driving projects to on-time completion - owning project onboarding and plans, managing timelines and stakeholders, flagging timeline lapses and escalations, calling out scope deviations, and ensuring smooth transitions from the Sales/PreSales phase through delivery and into Support. The role does not carry account management, upselling or marketing responsibilities. It is ideal for a structured, proactive individual who thrives on ownership, follow-through and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Timeline Management

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for assigned projects throughout the lifecycle, from kick-off call to handover.
Prepare and proactively maintain Project Plans in the project management tool (e.g., MS Planner) in coordination with the Technical Project Team and customer, capturing tasks, owners, effort and timelines.
Drive projects to stay within the agreed delivery timeline, tracking milestones, dependencies and completion status with trackers kept updated in real time.

Stakeholder Management & Status Reporting

Share regular project status reports with the respective stakeholders, including after every key meeting or decision point.
Circulate Minutes of Meeting capturing decisions, action items and owners, and follow up to closure.
Maintain proactive, clear communication with customers and internal teams (Technical, Sales, PreSales, Operations, Support) to keep everyone aligned.

Scope, Risk & Escalation Management

Proactively identify and flag timeline lapses, risks and blockers to the Project Lead before they become escalations.
Call out and formally report any scope creep or deviation in the proposed solution, in coordination with the Customer, Technical and Sales teams.
Own and track project-level escalations to resolution, following the correct escalation matrix and communication path.

Project Onboarding, Handover & Transition

Own the project onboarding process end to end - collect all required onboarding data from the Sales/Account Management team and follow the standard onboarding process for every assigned project.
Conduct the project kick-off call, with onboarding and subsequent project activities commencing immediately thereafter.
Conduct formal handover sessions for large projects and prepare handover documentation (solution overview, resource details, support scope, contacts and escalation matrix).
Ensure a smooth transition into the Support team immediately after handover for customers who have opted for support, with all relevant details formally handed over.

Process Adherence & Documentation

Ensure consistent use of the proper project management tools and processes across all assigned projects.
Maintain complete, up-to-date internal project documentation, and help standardize and communicate the onboarding-to-handover process to the PreSales, Sales and BizOps teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in IT / cloud services delivery.
Working familiarity with cloud and Microsoft technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS) is a strong advantage.
Hands-on proficiency with project management/tracking tools (MS Planner or equivalent) and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for status reporting, MoMs and customer-facing correspondence.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Strong sense of ownership, proactiveness and follow-through in flagging risks and driving projects to closure.

Preferred / Nice to Have

A recognised project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM or Agile/Scrum) or willingness to obtain one.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure or migration projects (Azure/AWS/M365).
Familiarity with SLAs, escalation matrices and support-transition processes.

Reporting & Performance

The Project Coordinator / Associate Project Manager reports to the Project Lead and works closely with the Technical, Sales, PreSales, Operations and Support teams. This role sits within the Project Management function of the team. Performance will be measured against the Key Result Areas (KRA) defined for the role, covering Project Planning & Timeline Management, Stakeholder Management & Status Reporting, Scope/Risk & Escalation Management, Project Onboarding/Handover & Transition, and Process Adherence & Documentation.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
