About the Company

Chaichun is a premium tea company committed to delivering exceptional teas through retail, cafés, e-commerce, exports, modern trade, and institutional sales. We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Head – Sales & Marketing to lead our sales growth, brand expansion, and market development across domestic and international markets.

Position Summary

The Head – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the company's overall sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, and expand market presence. The role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in the Tea, Beverage, FMCG, or Food & Beverage industry, capable of managing multiple sales channels while building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

- Develop and execute annual and long-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Drive sales growth across General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), Institutional Sales, HORECA, Distributor Network, Retail, E-commerce, Corporate Gifting, and Export markets.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels.

- Expand market presence and strengthen customer relationships across key territories.

- Lead negotiations with distributors, key accounts, retailers, and institutional clients.

Marketing & Brand Development

- Develop integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.

- Plan and execute ATL, BTL, digital marketing, trade marketing, and promotional campaigns.

- Collaborate with product development teams for new product launches and portfolio expansion.

- Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

- Strengthen the company's positioning as a premium tea brand.

Leadership & Team Management

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing sales and marketing teams.

- Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance management systems.

- Conduct regular business reviews, coaching sessions, and market visits.

- Foster a performance-driven and collaborative work culture.

Business Planning & Commercial Management

- Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and growth plans.

- Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, and sales performance.

- Manage trade schemes, promotional budgets, and pricing strategies.

- Ensure effective inventory planning and demand forecasting in coordination with operations and supply chain teams.

Market Expansion

- Identify opportunities for domestic and international market expansion.

- Develop distributor and dealer networks in new territories.

- Strengthen relationships with key retail chains, hospitality partners, and corporate clients.

- Explore export opportunities and strategic alliances.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Product Development teams to ensure seamless execution.

- Support new product launches and market penetration initiatives.

- Drive customer satisfaction through effective coordination across departments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, or a related field.

- MBA in Sales & Marketing or Business Management preferred.

Experience

- 10–15+ years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing.

- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing regional or national sales teams.

- Mandatory experience in the Tea, Beverage, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Consumer Goods industry.

- Experience handling distributor management, channel sales, key accounts, and business expansion is essential.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from leading Tea Companies, Beverage Companies, FMCG Organizations, Food & Beverage Brands, Consumer Goods Companies, or Premium Retail Brands will be preferred. Experience in organizations such as tea manufacturers, packaged beverage companies, FMCG leaders, or premium food brands will be an added advantage.
