About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Senior Growth Manager to lead the growth of our company, an upcoming Indian dating and social discovery app.

You will be responsible for building and executing growth strategies that increase user acquisition, engagement, matches, retention, referrals, and overall app growth. This role requires someone who can think strategically but is also comfortable executing campaigns hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall growth strategy for our company across digital, social, influencer, referral, partnership, and community channels.
Drive new user acquisition and app installs while maintaining a strong focus on quality users.
Build city-level growth strategies, starting with key markets such as Hyderabad, and expand into other Indian cities.
Plan and execute performance marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Develop viral and referral growth campaigns to encourage users to invite friends and increase organic acquisition.
Build and manage influencer and creator partnerships, especially with micro-influencers and dating/lifestyle creators.
Develop campaigns focused on Gen Z and young Indian audiences.
Work closely with the content and social media team to create growth-focused content, reels, memes, campaigns and promotional concepts.
Track the complete user acquisition funnel, from impressions and clicks to installs, registrations, profile completion, swipes, matches and subscriptions.
Improve activation, engagement and user retention through data-driven experiments.
Identify opportunities to increase DAU, MAU, retention, matches and referrals.
Conduct A/B testing of campaigns, creatives, onboarding flows, offers and growth initiatives.
Monitor competitors and identify new growth opportunities in the Indian dating-app market.
Develop partnerships with colleges, communities, events, brands, creators and local organizations to drive user acquisition.
Build innovative campaigns that can generate organic/viral attention for our company.
Manage and optimize the growth budget based on ROI and performance.
Work with product, design, engineering and marketing teams to implement growth initiatives.
Prepare weekly and monthly growth reports covering acquisition, activation, retention, engagement and revenue metrics.
Set measurable growth targets and continuously experiment to achieve them.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Senior Growth Manager will be measured on:

New user registrations
App installs and cost per install
User acquisition cost (CAC)
Profile completion rate
Daily and monthly active users (DAU/MAU)
User activation and engagement
Match creation and messaging activity
Day 1, Day 7 and Day 30 retention
Referral and organic acquisition
Influencer campaign performance
Conversion to paid/Gold users
Revenue and customer acquisition ROI
Overall user growth

Requirements

4–8 years of experience in Growth Marketing, Growth Management, Performance Marketing, User Acquisition or Consumer Internet products.
Experience growing a mobile app, startup, consumer-tech or social platform is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, analytics and performance marketing.
Experience with influencer marketing, referral programs and organic growth.
Strong knowledge of growth funnels, CAC, LTV, retention, conversion rates and cohort analysis.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Ability to independently develop and execute growth experiments.
Excellent communication and project-management skills.
Startup mindset with a strong ownership mentality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver measurable results.
