Presales is a key role in achieving our ambition, and we are looking for an experienced and strategic Director, Solution Consulting to lead our Anaplan Presales team in India. This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a strong background in SaaS and Enterprise sales, a deep understanding of business planning and performance management, and a proven track record of leading high-performing presales teams in complex selling environments.
You will lead a team of Solution Consultants in India, who embrace and respect diverse perspectives, aren't afraid to push the boundaries and try new ideas and are passionate about helping our customers and each other to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre Sales Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive India Strategy for Solution Consulting team, that align with sales objectives, Anaplan product capabilities, and enterprise customer needs.
- Enterprise Engagement with Clients/Partners: Demonstrate direct impact on India business by engaging with key stakeholders at target customers and partners (including strategic GSIs) by overseeing the development and delivery of high-impact demos, prototypes, and value propositions that showcase Anaplan's ability to solve complex business problems across finance, supply chain, and other planning domains.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Presales Solution Consultants focused on Anaplan, ensuring continuous professional growth and skills development.
- Drive Operational Excellence – Act as a change agent to rapidly transform the Presales organisation at the same pace that we are transforming the Sales organisation. Achieve this through adoption and mastery of the new Sales Blueprint. Specifically, the phases of the Sales Blueprint led by Presales.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Professional Services teams to align presales efforts with product innovation and customer success initiatives.
- Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of market trends and Anaplan innovations, serving as a subject matter expert and evangelist for modern enterprise planning and connected planning principles.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting environments and/or technical sales roles in an Enterprise software or SAAS environment.
- 5+ years of People leadership experience.
- Strong industry experience with focus in industries such as Conglomerates/CPG, financial services, Technology, Telco, and Media. (TMT)
- Strong understanding of diverse sets of Enterprise Technologies, Cloud, Data intelligence platforms.
- Proven track record of influencing C-level stakeholders in large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into compelling solution narratives.
