Full job description

We are seeking a results-driven AI & Automation Business Consultant to analyze existing business processes, identify high-impact opportunities for artificial intelligence, and design automated workflows that improve operational efficiency.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and AI technology. You will evaluate current workflows, recommend and implement practical AI tools and workflow automations (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier, custom LLM integrations), and train staff to ensure seamless adoption. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen combined with practical, hands-on technical experience in applying AI to real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Assessment & AI Strategy

Evaluate current operational workflows, client communication systems, and backend processes to identify bottlenecks and manual redundancies.

Develop tailored AI adoption roadmaps and business cases detailing estimated ROI, time savings, and cost reductions.

Recommend appropriate AI tools, large language models (LLMs), and automation platforms tailored to specific business needs.

2. Workflow Automation & Integration

Design, build, and deploy end-to-end automated workflows linking CRMs, communication channels, databases, and operational tools.

Integrate AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models) via APIs and automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier).

Create custom prompts, AI agents, or automated customer interaction channels to optimize lead handling, booking, or customer support.

3. Implementation & Change Management

Test, troubleshoot, and refine automated systems before full operational rollout.

Write clear documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides for implemented solutions.

Conduct hands-on training sessions with team members and key stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption and minimal friction.

4. Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

Monitor system performance, accuracy, and operational impact post-implementation.

Continuously refine prompts, workflows, and integrations based on user feedback and technological updates.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in management consulting, business process optimization, or digital transformation with a focus on AI and automation.

Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n, Make/Integromat, Zapier).

Practical knowledge of implementing AI APIs (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic) into business tools.

Strong understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.

Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and basic scripting (Python or JavaScript/Node.js).

Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into actionable business strategies and measurable ROI.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for running discovery calls, presenting solutions, and training team members.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a track record of streamlining disorganized or manual processes.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience setting up automation for local service businesses, dispatch/logistics, or SaaS environments.

Hands-on background with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel) and database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, Airtable, Notion).

Knowledge of data privacy standards, secure API key management, and compliance best practices for AI deployment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Reduction in manual task hours across targeted departments.

Success rate and accuracy of deployed AI workflows and automations.

User adoption rate and satisfaction scores from internal teams.

On-time delivery of implementation milestones within budget.
