Job Profile: HR Manager

Location: Mohali
Experience: 4+ Years
Industry: IT & Digital Marketing
Employment Type: Full-Time | Work From Office

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager with 4+ years of experience, preferably from the IT & Digital Marketing industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, performance management, grievance handling, and exit formalities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT, Digital Marketing, Sales, and other business profiles.
Understand hiring requirements and coordinate with department heads.
Source, screen, interview, and shortlist suitable candidates.
Manage recruitment pipelines and ensure timely closures of open positions.
Coordinate interview schedules, offer discussions, and joining formalities.

2. Employee Onboarding

Manage complete onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
Ensure timely completion of joining documents, agreements, NDA, and other HR formalities.
Conduct employee orientation and explain company policies, processes, and guidelines.
Coordinate with relevant departments for smooth onboarding.

3. Employee Lifecycle Management

Manage employee records, HR documentation, attendance, leave, and related HR processes.
Handle employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, salary revisions, and other HR-related activities.
Ensure HR policies and processes are properly implemented and followed.

4. Employee Engagement & Grievance Handling

Handle employee queries, concerns, and grievances professionally.
Maintain a positive and healthy work environment.
Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, events, celebrations, and team-building initiatives.
Address workplace issues and coordinate with management for appropriate resolutions.

5. Performance Management

Coordinate employee performance review and appraisal processes.
Track performance-related concerns and improvement plans.
Work closely with managers to ensure effective performance management.

6. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination

Monitor attendance, leaves, late coming, and other employee-related records.
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the accounts/payroll team.
Ensure accurate attendance and salary-related information.
Implement and communicate company leave and attendance policies.

7. Employee Relations & Compliance

Ensure HR policies are communicated and followed across the organization.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Maintain proper HR records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and statutory requirements.

8. Exit & Full & Final Process

Manage the complete employee exit process, including resignation, acceptance, notice period, and exit formalities.
Conduct exit interviews and document employee feedback.
Coordinate clearance, asset handover, HR documentation, and full & final settlement.
Ensure smooth employee offboarding and knowledge/asset handover.

9. HR Team Management

Manage and guide the HR/recruitment team.
Allocate recruitment and HR tasks and monitor team performance.
Set hiring targets and ensure timely achievement of recruitment goals.
Prepare and share HR-related reports with management.

Required Skills

4+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in IT & Digital Marketing companies.
Strong knowledge of the complete employee lifecycle: Recruitment → Onboarding → Employee Management → Engagement → Performance → Exit.
Strong understanding of IT and Digital Marketing hiring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong employee grievance-handling and conflict-resolution skills.
Good knowledge of attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and HR documentation.
Strong team management and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to handle multiple HR functions independently.
Good organizational and decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate

Experience working in an IT services, software, web/mobile app development, or digital marketing company.
Strong exposure to recruitment of technical and non-technical profiles.
Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,645.94 - ₹54,628.65 per month
