HR & People Operations Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and people-centric HR & People Operations Executive / Intern to help build and strengthen our people practices across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, performance management, and culture.

This role combines recruitment, HR administration, employee experience, employer branding, and AI-driven HR processes into one growth-oriented position.

If you enjoy interacting with people, creating organized systems, improving processes, and helping build a great workplace, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow in modern Human Resources.

You will be part of the Business Development Team, working from our Mumbai Office based out in Ghatkopar East. from Monday to Saturday - 930am to 630pm, 2nd & 4th Saturdays will be holiday.

Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition

Understand hiring requirements with department heads.
Publish job openings across hiring platforms.
Source candidates through multiple channels.
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates.
Conduct initial HR screening interviews.
Coordinate technical and management interviews.
Manage interview scheduling and communication.
Prepare and roll out offer letters.
Maintain the recruitment pipeline.
Build a talent database for future hiring.

2. Onboarding & Offboarding

Coordinate new employee onboarding.
Collect documentation and complete joining formalities.
Conduct induction sessions.
Coordinate IT asset allocation.
Track probation milestones.
Manage employee exits and exit documentation.
Conduct exit interviews and maintain records.

3. HR Operations

Maintain employee records.
Manage attendance and leave records.
Coordinate payroll inputs with finance.
Maintain HR policies and documentation.
Update HRMS records.
Ensure compliance with internal processes.
Handle employee queries professionally.

4. Employee Engagement

Organize team celebrations and events.
Coordinate birthdays and work anniversaries.
Drive employee engagement initiatives.
Support internal communication.
Promote a positive workplace culture.
Gather employee feedback.

5. Learning & Development

Coordinate induction programs.
Track employee training.
Maintain skill matrices.
Organize knowledge-sharing sessions.
Coordinate AI learning initiatives.
Support leadership development programs.

6. Performance Management

Track probation reviews.
Coordinate KPI review cycles.
Schedule appraisal discussions.
Maintain performance records.
Support employee development plans.
Coordinate feedback sessions.

7. Employer Branding

Publish hiring posts on LinkedIn and other platforms.
Coordinate careers page updates.
Create recruitment campaigns with the marketing team.
Showcase company culture online.
Coordinate employee testimonials.
Build Metaphi's employer brand.

8. HR Analytics & Reporting

Prepare and maintain reports including:

Open positions
Time-to-hire
Recruitment funnel
Offer acceptance rate
Employee headcount
Attrition
Attendance trends
Training completion
Employee engagement initiatives
HR dashboards

9. AI-First HR

Use AI responsibly to improve HR productivity through:

AI-assisted JD creation
Resume screening
Interview summaries
Policy drafting
HR documentation
Training material creation
Recruitment communication
HR reporting
Process automation

Continuously evaluate new AI tools to improve HR efficiency.
