About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Construction Project Manager who can independently manage and coordinate multiple construction sites simultaneously.
The candidate will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of assigned projects — from planning and mobilization through execution, quality control, procurement, billing, coordination, monitoring, and final handover.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil construction, project planning, site execution, subcontractor management, materials, manpower, quality control, safety, costing and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities
1. Multiple Site Management
* Manage and monitor multiple construction projects/sites simultaneously.
* Regularly visit all active sites and ensure smooth progress.
* Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors and Project Teams.
* Identify site issues and ensure timely resolution.
* Ensure all sites are progressing according to the approved schedule.
2. Project Planning & Scheduling
* Prepare and monitor detailed project execution schedules.
* Develop weekly, monthly and milestone-based targets.
* Track planned vs. actual progress.
* Identify delays, bottlenecks and critical activities.
* Coordinate parallel activities to optimize project duration.
* Prepare recovery plans wherever projects fall behind schedule.
* Maintain project trackers, progress reports and dashboards.
3. Construction Execution
* Supervise overall execution of civil and finishing works.
* Ensure construction is carried out as per:
* Approved drawings
* Structural drawings
* Architectural drawings
* Specifications
* BOQ
* Approved construction methodology
* Monitor activities including excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, painting and finishing works.
* Ensure proper sequencing of construction activities.
4. Manpower & Contractor Management
* Plan manpower requirements for each site.
* Monitor productivity of labour and contractors.
* Allocate resources according to project priorities.
* Manage subcontractors and specialist agencies.
* Negotiate and coordinate with contractors for smooth execution.
* Monitor contractor performance and work quality.
* Ensure adequate manpower is available as per project requirements.
5. Material & Procurement Management
* Plan material requirements in advance.
* Coordinate with the procurement/purchase team for timely availability of materials.
* Monitor material consumption against BOQ and estimated quantities.
* Prevent material wastage, theft and unnecessary consumption.
* Ensure materials received at site meet approved specifications and quality standards.
* Maintain proper inventory and material reconciliation.
6. Cost Control & Commercial Management
* Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
* Track material, labour, subcontractor and other project expenses.
* Control wastage and unnecessary expenditure.
* Review BOQ quantities and variations.
* Identify potential cost overruns and take corrective action.
* Coordinate with the billing/commercial team for:
* RA Bills
* Contractor Bills
* Client Bills
* Measurement Sheets
* Work Orders
* Variation Statements
* Final Accounts
7. Quality Control
* Ensure construction quality meets company standards and approved specifications.
* Implement proper inspection and quality-control procedures.
* Monitor concrete, reinforcement, masonry, plaster, waterproofing and finishing quality.
* Ensure required tests are conducted and records maintained.
* Identify and rectify defective or non-conforming work.
* Coordinate with structural consultants, architects and quality-control teams wherever required.
8. Drawing & Technical Coordination
* Review drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
* Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants and other consultants.
* Ensure latest approved drawings are available at site.
* Resolve technical queries and RFI-related issues.
* Ensure construction is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
* Coordinate drawing revisions and communicate changes to site teams.
9. Client & Consultant Coordination
* Act as the primary project-level coordination point with clients and consultants.
* Attend site meetings and progress meetings.
* Communicate project progress, delays, requirements and key issues.
* Handle client requirements professionally.
* Coordinate approvals, inspections and decisions required for project execution.
* Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and consultants.
10. Safety Management
* Ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
* Coordinate with safety personnel and site teams.
* Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
* Monitor housekeeping, scaffolding, working-at-height and other safety requirements.
* Immediately address unsafe working conditions.
* Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.
11. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and review regular project documentation, including:
* Daily/Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports
* Project Status Reports
* Site Inspection Reports
* Material Requirement Statements
* Material Consumption Reports
* Labour Reports
* Contractor Performance Reports
* Work Progress Reports
* Project Cost Reports
* Delay/Recovery Reports
* DPR/WPR/MPR
* Measurement Sheets
* Variation Statements
* Snag Lists
* Handover Documentation
12. Project Monitoring & Control
* Monitor Time + Cost + Quality + Safety + Scope across all projects.
* Maintain project KPIs.
* Compare actual progress with planned progress.
* Escalate major issues to management.
* Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
* Ensure projects are completed within approved time, budget and quality parameters.
13. Final Handover
* Coordinate completion and finishing activities.
* Prepare and monitor snag/punch lists.
* Ensure all defects are rectified.
* Coordinate final inspections.
* Ensure testing and commissioning where applicable.
* Coordinate preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation.
* Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to the client.

Required Qualifications
Essential:
* B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
* 5–10 years of relevant construction/project management experience.
* Strong knowledge of residential/commercial building construction.
* Experience in handling multiple construction sites.
* Good understanding of project planning, execution and cost control.
Preferred:
* M.Tech in Construction Management / Project Management.
* PMP / Primavera / MS Project knowledge.
* Experience with ERP/project management software.
* Experience in managing turnkey construction projects.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is not merely a Site Engineer, but a complete Project Manager capable of taking ownership of projects from planning to handover.
The candidate should be comfortable travelling between multiple sites, managing site teams, coordinating contractors and consultants, controlling costs, monitoring schedules, solving technical problems and reporting directly to management.
The selected candidate will be expected to take complete ownership of project execution and ensure that every assigned project is delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
