Full job description

We are one of the top most reputed organization in Coimbatore in Real Estate and Construction Industry. We are building the team and looking for a Business Development Officer.

A Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for identifying business opportunities, generating leads, building customer relationships, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets. They act as the first point of contact for prospective customers and contribute to the company's growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation

· Identify and generate potential customer leads through various channels.

· Conduct field visits, market surveys, and promotional activities.

· Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.

2. Customer Acquisition

· Approach potential customers and understand their property requirements.

· Explain project features, pricing, amenities, and payment plans.

· Schedule site visits and coordinate with the sales team.

3. Business Development

· Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.

· Develop relationships with channel partners, brokers, and corporate clients.

· Participate in exhibitions, property expos, and promotional campaigns.

4. Client Relationship Management

· Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and existing customers.

· Address customer queries and ensure a positive customer experience.

· Build long-term relationships to generate referrals and repeat business.

5. Market Research

· Analyze competitors' projects, pricing, and marketing strategies.

· Monitor market conditions and customer preferences.

· Submit market intelligence reports to management.

6. Sales Support

· Assist the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

· Coordinate documentation required during the sales process.

· Support negotiations and closing activities.

7. CRM Management

· Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.

· Update lead status, follow-up schedules, and customer interactions.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.

8. Marketing Coordination

· Support digital and offline marketing campaigns.

· Coordinate promotional events and lead generation activities.

· Collect customer feedback to improve marketing effectiveness.

9. Documentation & Compliance

· Ensure customer documents are collected and verified.

· Coordinate with finance and legal teams for smooth transaction processing.

· Maintain confidentiality of customer information.

10. Reporting

· Submit daily field visit reports.

· Track lead conversion ratios and business development activities.

· Present performance updates to reporting managers.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Number of leads generated.

· Number of qualified prospects.

· Site visits arranged.

· Customer conversion ratio.

· Revenue generated.

· Customer satisfaction score.

· Referral business generated.

· Channel partner acquisition.

· Follow-up efficiency.

· Monthly sales target achievement.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

· MBA (Marketing/Sales) is preferred.

Experience

· 0–2 years: Junior Business Development Officer.

· 2–5 years: Business Development Officer in Real Estate/Construction.

· Experience in property sales, lead generation, or channel partner management is an added advantage.
