Project Management Executive – Architecture & Construction

Job Description

The Design Algo Firm is looking for a highly structured, organised, and proactive Project Management Executive to manage and coordinate architecture, interior design, and construction projects from the design stage to final project handover.

This is a project coordination and management role for someone who enjoys planning, tracking timelines, following up with multiple teams, maintaining structured project data, and ensuring that every stage of a project moves forward as planned.

You do not necessarily need to be an Architect or Civil Engineer.

We are looking for a strong project management professional with excellent coordination, communication, Excel/Google Sheets, MIS, timeline management, and follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate complete projects from design initiation to final handover.
Create, maintain, and regularly update project timelines and schedules.
Track every stage of architecture, interior design, and project execution.
Coordinate between design teams, site teams, project managers, vendors, contractors, and clients.
Conduct regular follow-ups with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed within defined timelines.
Identify project delays, pending tasks, and dependencies before they impact project schedules.
Maintain project MIS, trackers, reports, and documentation.
Manage project data using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
Track design approvals, client feedback, drawing stages, and project deliverables.
Coordinate client meetings, project reviews, and internal project discussions.
Record Minutes of Meetings (MOM) and ensure timely follow-up on all action points.
Track site progress, vendor commitments, material requirements, and contractor timelines.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project-related requirements and follow-ups.
Maintain structured records of project communications, approvals, and pending decisions.
Ensure clients receive regular and professional project progress updates.
Track project milestones from initial planning, design, execution, and quality checks to final handover.
Escalate delays, risks, and critical project issues to management at the right time.
Ensure no project task, client approval, or internal commitment is missed.

Required Skills

Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Ability to maintain MIS reports and project trackers.
Strong timeline and task management skills.
Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proactive and solution-oriented working approach.
Ability to identify delays and follow up until task completion.
Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of project management tools and software.
Understanding of Gantt Charts, PERT Charts, and project scheduling.
Experience with CRM, ERP, or task management systems.
Basic understanding of architecture, interior design, or construction projects will be an added advantage.
Experience in client coordination or vendor management will be preferred.

Educational Qualification

Graduates from any discipline can apply.

Candidates from the following backgrounds will be preferred:

Operations Management
Architecture or Interior Design

Technical architecture or civil engineering qualifications are not mandatory.
