About Us

Padmini Power Solutions is one of North Tamil Nadu’s growing providers of Solar EPC solutions, Batteries, Inverters, and Energy Storage Systems. We specialize in residential, commercial, and industrial solar installations and are committed to delivering quality, innovation, and excellent customer service.

We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager who can lead our team, streamline operations, improve customer satisfaction, and help scale our business.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of business operations, including sales coordination, project execution, service management, staff supervision, customer relationship management, inventory control, and business growth. This is a leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director. Similar operations leadership roles in the solar industry emphasize end-to-end project delivery, operational efficiency, team leadership, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations

Manage day-to-day operations across Solar, Battery & Inverter divisions.
Ensure smooth coordination between Sales, Design, Procurement, Installation and Service teams.
Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion of projects.
Improve operational efficiency and implement standard operating procedures.

Team Management

Lead and supervise office staff, technicians, electricians and sales executives.
Conduct daily review meetings and assign work.
Monitor employee productivity and attendance.
Recruit, train and mentor new employees.

Project Management

Track every solar project from enquiry to installation and commissioning.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate with customers, vendors and government authorities whenever required.
Resolve project delays and customer issues.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
Handle escalated customer complaints.
Ensure timely follow-up for quotations, approvals and pending payments.
Improve Google Reviews and customer feedback.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

Track project profitability.
Monitor pending collections and payment schedules.
Approve purchase requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly business reports.
Assist management in achieving sales and revenue targets.

Inventory & Procurement

Monitor stock levels of solar panels, batteries, inverters and accessories.
Coordinate with suppliers.
Ensure timely procurement and stock availability.

Business Development

Identify new growth opportunities.
Support marketing campaigns.
Develop relationships with builders, architects, industries and corporate customers.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Business Administration or related field)
Minimum 5 years of Operations or Project Management experience
Experience in Solar EPC, Electrical, Construction or Renewable Energy preferred
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English
Good knowledge of MS Excel and business reporting
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
