We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to define, design, and drive enterprise data architecture across data warehousing, cloud migration, integration, analytics, governance, and modern data-platform initiatives.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing enterprise data-architecture strategies, defining reusable standards and patterns, reviewing technical designs, and guiding engineering teams in building scalable, secure, governed, and high-performing data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise data-architecture strategy, principles, standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
- Design scalable architectures for enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, data marts, lakehouses, operational data stores, and analytical platforms.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business capabilities and enterprise standards.
- Define dimensional, relational, normalized, denormalized, and analytical data-modelling patterns.
- Apply Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, and hybrid data-warehousing methodologies based on business and technical requirements.
- Design batch, near-real-time, streaming, event-driven, API-based, and file-based data-integration architectures.
- Define ETL and ELT architecture patterns for enterprise data pipelines and transformation frameworks.
- Review data models, schemas, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, integration designs, and cloud data-platform implementations.
- Establish frameworks for data governance, metadata management, data lineage, master data, reference data, and data quality.
- Define data-security, privacy, access-control, encryption, retention, masking, and compliance requirements.
- Support legacy-to-cloud migration, data-platform modernization, and application-decommissioning programmes.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services, databases, integration platforms, modelling tools, and data-governance technologies.
- Define performance, scalability, reliability, availability, disaster-recovery, and cost-optimization strategies.
- Conduct architecture assessments, solution-design reviews, technical-risk reviews, and architecture-governance sessions.
- Prepare architecture documents, data-flow diagrams, solution blueprints, integration patterns, technical standards, and migration roadmaps.
- Work closely with data engineers, data modellers, analytics teams, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor technical teams and ensure adherence to architecture principles, engineering standards, governance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Present architecture recommendations, design decisions, risks, trade-offs, and implementation roadmaps to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of overall experience in data engineering, data architecture, data warehousing, data integration, or related areas.
- Strong hands-on experience defining enterprise data architectures and architecture roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, data marts, lakehouses, and modern cloud data platforms.
- Strong experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
- Expertise in Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, or hybrid data-warehousing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling, relational modelling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and analytical data models.
- Experience designing batch, real-time, streaming, and event-driven integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of ETL, ELT, CDC, API integration, messaging, orchestration, and enterprise data-pipeline architecture.
- Experience implementing data-governance, metadata, lineage, data-quality, and stewardship frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, role-based access control, encryption, and data masking.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of database design, indexing, partitioning, performance tuning, and workload optimization.
- Experience with cloud migration, legacy-system modernization, and enterprise data-platform transformation.
- Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs related to scalability, performance, reliability, security, maintainability, and cost.
- Strong stakeholder-management, communication, documentation, and architectural decision-making skills.
- Experience leading design reviews and guiding data engineers, data modellers, and technical delivery teams.
Preferred Skills

Education
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
Relevant cloud, architecture, data-management, or governance certifications will be advantageous.

- The selected candidate must be available for up to one week of onsite onboarding.
