Full job description

Job Summary

Alps Digital Devices is seeking a dynamic, organized, and results-driven Sales Coordinator to lead and coordinate our iPro Sales Team. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, performance, and coordination of the Sales Executives, ensuring smooth sales operations, effective communication, and achievement of business objectives.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent leadership, coordination, and analytical skills, with proven experience in handling large sales teams. This role requires close collaboration with internal departments, distributors, dealers, and the Sales Executives to ensure operational excellence and sales growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Coordination

Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of the Sales Executives.
Manage a team and ensure adherence to company policies and operational standards.
Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and performance of the Sales Executives.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
Motivate, mentor, and support Sales Executives to achieve individual and team targets.
Resolve operational challenges and provide timely guidance to the sales team.

Sales Operations

Coordinate daily sales activities to ensure smooth execution of business plans.
Monitor sales targets and ensure timely achievement of assigned KPIs.
Track individual and team performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Ensure effective implementation of sales promotions, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
Coordinate with distributors, dealers, and internal departments to support sales operations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and sales dashboards.
Analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Recommend corrective actions to improve productivity and sales performance.
Submit accurate and timely reports to management.

Operational Coordination

Plan and coordinate work allocation for the Sales Executives.
Monitor attendance, leave records, and deployment schedules.
Ensure compliance with company policies, reporting standards, and operational procedures.
Coordinate with the HR department regarding onboarding, attendance, documentation, and employee-related matters.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless business operations.

Training & Development

Support the onboarding of newly recruited Sales Executives.
Coordinate product knowledge, sales process, and skill development training.
Identify training needs and assist in implementing development programs.
Foster a high-performance and collaborative work culture.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Team sales target achievement
Sales Executive productivity
Team attendance and discipline
Timely submission of reports and MIS
Sales growth within assigned territories
Sales Executive retention and engagement
Accuracy of reporting and documentation
Effective coordination with dealers and distributors
Implementation of sales campaigns
Overall team performance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Operations, or Team Management.
Mandatory experience in handling a team of at least 25 Sales Executives.
Prior experience in the B2B, Mobile, Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, or Telecom industry is highly preferred.
Proven track record of improving sales performance and coordinating large sales teams.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong planning, coordination, and organizational abilities.
Ability to analyze sales data and prepare MIS reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with CRM or ERP systems is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Proven experience in leading and coordinating 25 or more Sales Executives.
Background in B2B, Mobile, Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, or Telecom sales.
Strong understanding of sales operations, distributor management, and retail sales coordination.
Excellent follow-up, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region whenever required.
