Job Title: Accounts & Legal Executive (Real Estate)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and trustworthy professional to handle Accounts and Legal Operations for our real estate business based in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring smooth legal paperwork and compliance for our projects.

Location: Guwahati, Assam
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Commensurate with experience (Negotiable)
Experience Required: 3 to 5+ years (Prior experience in the Real Estate sector is highly preferred)

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts & Financial Management (50%):

Daily Accounting: Managing daily cash flow, bank transactions, and day-to-day business expenses.
Taxation: Ensuring timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
Real Estate Ledger: Maintaining and reconciling ledgers for landowners, buyers, contractors, and suppliers.
Software: Handling data entry, voucher creation, and financial reporting on Tally Prime or real estate ERP software.

2. Legal & Liaison Work (50%):

Documentation: Drafting and reviewing Sale Deeds, Agreements for Sale, Power of Attorney, and Lease Agreements.
Compliance: Managing RERA (Assam) project registrations, updates, and quarterly compliance.
Liaison: Coordinating with local authorities like Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), GMDA, and the Registry Office for approvals and legal clearances.
Property Title Check: Assisting in verifying land documents (Jamabandi, Mutation, Chitha) to ensure clear titles.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:B.Com / M.Com (for Accounts) OR LLB / Legal background (a combined background or experience in handling both domains is highly preferred).
Skills: Strong proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and a solid understanding of local Assam land laws.
Languages: Fluency in Assamese, Hindi, and English (both written and verbal).
Key Traits: High integrity, trustworthiness, absolute confidentiality, and excellent negotiation/communication skills with local authorities.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹17,500.00 per month
