Job Title: Placement Officer

Location: Wakad, Pune
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Industry Preference: Training Institute / Educational Institute / Skill Development Institute

Job Summary

The Placement & Career Success Officer will be responsible for connecting HCCA learners with employment opportunities, building relationships with employers, coordinating placement activities, and preparing learners to become industry-ready. The role focuses on enhancing learner employability through career guidance, interview preparation, employer engagement, and placement support.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, HR teams, and hiring managers.
Generate placement opportunities for students across various industries.
Coordinate placement drives, campus recruitment, walk-ins, and virtual interviews.
Liaise with employers to understand hiring requirements and match suitable student profiles.
Conduct placement readiness activities, including resume building, mock interviews, and career guidance.
Track interview schedules, feedback, offers, and student joining status.
Maintain placement records, employer databases, and MIS reports.
Coordinate with trainers to ensure students are job-ready.
Organize guest lectures, employer connect sessions, and placement events.
Achieve monthly placement targets and continuously expand the employer network.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Placement Officer in a Training Institute, Educational Institute, Skill Development Centre, or EdTech organization is mandatory.
Experience in corporate relations, campus placements, or recruitment coordination.
Strong network with HR professionals and corporate hiring teams will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and placement tracking tools.
