Position: Growth Lead

Location: Bangalore

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Experience Required: 6-8 years

About the role

Our client, is building clothing for modern life in motion. From workouts to workdays, airports to after-hours , they create products that move seamlessly across moments, routines, and identities. They believe the future of lifestyle brands sits at the intersection of culture, utility, storytelling, and technology.

They're looking for a Head of Growth who has done this before , taken a brand from near-zero to real scale, built the acquisition and retention engine from scratch, and knows what it actually takes to make D2C work in a category where product quality, customer lifetime value, and brand trust all matter.

This role is not about “running ads.” It’s about architecting the full-funnel growth system that turns client into a brand people find, buy, come back to, and tell others about.

What You’ll Lead

Performance Marketing
- Own paid acquisition across Meta and Google , strategy, structure, budgets, bidding, and outcomes.
- Build and iterate on full-funnel campaign architecture: awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention.
- Manage media buying with the discipline of someone spending their own money , every rupee accountable.
- Know when to scale, when to pull back, and why. Not just what the dashboard says , what it means.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithm shifts, and new ad formats before they become mainstream knowledge.
Creative & Media Strategy
- Work closely with the brand and creative team to build a performance creative engine , not just assets, but a system for testing, learning, and scaling what works.
- Develop creative briefs grounded in data , know which hooks, formats, and narratives drive results at each stage of the funnel.
- Build a test-and-learn culture where creative iteration is fast, structured, and tied to real metrics.
- Understand the difference between brand-building content and conversion content , and know how to do both.
Analytics & Growth Intelligence
- Own the growth data stack , attribution, reporting, dashboards, and the metrics that actually matter.
- Build a clear view of CAC, LTV, payback periods, cohort behaviour, and blended ROAS across channels.
- Turn data into decisions, not decks. The team should always know what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s next.
- Identify growth levers , in acquisition, in retention, in the funnel , before they become obvious.
Shopify & Website Optimisation
- Own the D2C storefront as a growth asset , not just a transactional layer.
- Lead CRO initiatives across the site: landing pages, PDPs, checkout flow, navigation, and overall UX.
- Run structured A/B and multivariate tests with clear hypotheses and clean read-outs.
- Work with design and tech to implement changes fast , velocity matters as much as insight.
- Ensure the site experience matches the brand promise at every touchpoint.
CRM & Retention
- Build and own the CRM strategy across email, WhatsApp, push, and SMS.
- Develop lifecycle flows that drive repeat purchase, reduce churn, and increase LTV without spamming customers.
- Segment intelligently , right message, right person, right moment.
- Make retention a growth channel, not an afterthought.
Omnichannel & New Channels
- Think beyond D2C , build a growth strategy that works across online and offline touchpoints.
- Evaluate and activate new channels: marketplaces, quick commerce, retail, and emerging platforms.
- Ensure channel expansion is accretive, not cannibalistic , each channel should serve a clear role in the customer journey.
- Build systems that make omnichannel feel seamless to the customer, even when the backend complexity is high.
Team & Vendor Management
- Build and lead the growth team as the function scales , in-house talent and external agency/freelancer relationships.
- Set standards for how we work with performance agencies, creative partners, and tech vendors.
- Create a culture of ownership, speed, and accountability within the growth function.

What We’re Looking For

6–8 years in growth, D2C, or performance marketing , with real P&L ownership, not just execution.
Direct experience scaling a brand from 0 to 10 , ideally in apparel, footwear, or medium-frequency physical goods (non-FMCG).
Someone who can:
- Build a Meta and Google campaign from scratch,
- Brief a creative team on what to make and why,
- Read a cohort chart and know what it’s actually saying,
- Optimise a PDP for conversion,
- Set up a CRM flow that drives second purchase,
- And still have a clear opinion on where the budget should go next quarter.
Deep knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and the tooling that sits around them (GA4, Klaviyo or equivalent, Shopify analytics, third-party attribution).
Strong commercial instincts , you think in unit economics, not vanity metrics.
High ownership mentality. You treat the business like it’s yours.
Fast, structured, data-driven, and still brand-aware. Numbers don’t replace taste.
