Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist

Location: Kasturinagar, Bangalore
Industry: Ayurvedic Healthcare Centre
Employment Type: Part-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, organized, customer-focused, and sales-oriented Part-Time Receptionist to join our Ayurvedic Centre in Kasturinagar, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm welcome while efficiently managing front desk operations. The candidate should also possess strong sales and communication skills to convert enquiries into appointments, promote the centre's Ayurvedic treatments and wellness packages, and contribute to the centre's business growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Handle incoming phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and walk-in patient enquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
Maintain patient records and update appointment details accurately.
Coordinate with doctors and therapists regarding patient schedules.
Process billing, collect payments, and issue receipts when required.
Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining registers.
Follow up with patients regarding appointments, treatments, and feedback.
Explain the centre's Ayurvedic treatments, consultation services, wellness packages, and promotional offers.
Convert patient enquiries into confirmed appointments through effective communication and counselling.
Achieve daily and monthly enquiry-to-appointment conversion targets.
Build and maintain positive relationships with patients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
Assist in promoting the centre's services through outbound follow-up calls and customer engagement activities.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information and adhere to organizational policies and healthcare standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Executive, Customer Service Executive, or Sales Executive is preferred.
Prior experience in customer handling, telecalling, counselling, or sales will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi (knowledge of Malayalam is an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of MS Office and appointment management software.
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a healthcare environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to achieve enquiry conversion and customer satisfaction goals.

Preferred Candidate

Experience working in a healthcare, clinic, wellness, or Ayurvedic centre is preferred.
Experience in front office operations along with sales or patient counselling.
Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently during assigned part-time shifts.
Passion for delivering excellent patient service while contributing to the centre's revenue growth through effective sales and customer engagement.
