Senior UX/UI Designer – CRM/SaaS Platform Redesign (Contract, Remote)

About SimpSocial
SimpSocial is an AI-powered CRM, lead generation, and BDC automation platform built for automotive dealerships, with core products including Sarah AI (our AI-driven communication and follow-up engine) and GoCRM (our full dealership CRM). We are a Meta Official Partner and currently power workflows for 500+ active dealership accounts. We're a fast-moving, product-driven team, and this role sits at the center of a major initiative to modernize our core platform's experience.

About the Role
SimpSocial is hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead a structured, design-only redesign of GoCRM, our enterprise dealership CRM platform. GoCRM is functionally deep — it handles lead management, communications, campaigns, reporting, and admin configuration — but has accumulated inconsistent experience patterns across its surfaces over time. We are not looking for a cosmetic UI refresh. We need someone who can rebuild the information architecture, unify a fragmented design system, and deliver platform-appropriate UX across three connected surfaces:

User / Customer Web — the day-to-day dealership CRM experience
Admin Web — configuration, permissions, and system administration
Mobile App — mobile lead access, communications, and on-the-go operations

This is a design-only engagement: UX strategy, IA, high-fidelity UI, a shared design system, Figma specs, annotations, interaction notes, and full developer handoff. Implementation is not in scope.

Your take on UX in a CRM specifically — what makes CRM UX different from other SaaS products, and how you'd approach simplifying a complex, feature-dense CRM workflow.

We're not looking for a rehearsed script — we want to see how you actually think about product UX on the spot.

Scope of Work
An audit has already been completed across all three surfaces, all rated enterprise complexity. Known issues going in:

Lead Center dashboard has multiple competing high-importance elements with no single clear daily focus
Lead/Contact detail view is the most complex surface and needs clearer hierarchy — currently tries to surface too much at once
Broadcast, Power Dialer, and BDC use inconsistent list/status/action patterns for equivalent actions
Communications are fragmented across Social Talk, Email, messaging, templates with no unified conversation model
Reports function more like standalone KPI tiles than a coherent analytics experience

Admin Web and Mobile App have been audited but not yet documented in detail — you'll run your own discovery pass on these as part of the engagement.

What You'll Own

Cross-platform IA and navigation model
Visual direction, design tokens, and a reusable component library with full interaction states
Redesign of core workflows: Lead Center, Lead/Contact detail, unified Conversations, Campaigns, Reports & Settings
Responsive web behavior and platform-appropriate mobile conventions (iOS/Android)
Clickable prototype for priority flows
Annotated Figma specs, interaction notes, and developer handoff documentation
Accessibility to a WCAG 2.1 AA baseline, with a plan for how you'll verify it

Requirements

SaaS and/or CRM experience is a MUST — non-negotiable. We are not looking for someone who just "throws paint" at a screen; we need someone who deeply understands user experience and can prove it with real examples.
Enterprise, feature-dense, multi-role product experience (not marketing sites or simple consumer apps)
IA and design-system experience, not just visual UI
Design experience across web and native mobile (iOS/Android) conventions
Strong Figma skills — organized files, component libraries, developer-ready annotations
Comfortable working independently with a distributed team and hitting milestone deadlines
Bonus: experience designing dashboards, CRM tools, or workflow-heavy B2B products specifically

Demonstrated experience with complex, multi-platform SaaS/CRM products
Strength of your approach to IA and design-system thinking
Quality/organization of your Figma work and handoff documentation
Accessibility commitment
Clarity of communication (this is what the video is really testing)
