Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Head to lead and oversee our sales operations in the education sector. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in educational sales, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. This role is responsible for driving admissions, achieving revenue targets, developing sales strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across the sales department.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve organizational revenue and admission targets.
Lead, manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
Set individual and team sales targets, monitor progress, and ensure consistent achievement of goals.
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate the performance of Academic Counselors, Student Counselors, and Sales Executives.
Monitor daily sales activities, lead generation, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions performance.
Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with schools, colleges, corporates, and other educational channels.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to strengthen the organization's market presence.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to improve lead quality and optimize conversion rates.
Review sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Implement sales processes, performance standards, and best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure effective utilization of CRM systems and maintain accurate sales records.
Resolve customer escalations and ensure a high standard of student and parent satisfaction.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales performance and business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Education, EdTech, Training Institute, or Higher Education sector.
Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and managing high-performing sales teams.
Strong experience in admissions, student enrollment, or educational business development is highly preferred.

Ability to build long-term business relationships and identify new market opportunities.
