Full job description

HMR International School is seeking a creative, energetic, and organized Office Assistant whose primary responsibility will be managing the school's social media presence and digital communications while supporting day-to-day administrative operations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about content creation, branding, and marketing, with the ability to efficiently handle office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility – Social Media Management

Plan, create, and publish engaging content for the school's social media platforms.
Capture high-quality photos and videos of school events, classroom activities, and special programs.
Design posters, reels, stories, banners, and promotional materials using Canva or similar design tools.
Edit photos and videos for social media and marketing campaigns.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Coordinate with the management team to promote admissions, achievements, events, and announcements.
Monitor social media performance and recommend strategies to improve engagement and reach.

Secondary Responsibility – Office Administration

Assist with day-to-day office administrative work.
Prepare letters, reports, notices, and official documents.
Maintain records, files, and digital documentation.
Handle emails, phone calls, and visitor enquiries professionally.
Support the admissions process and student documentation.
Assist in organizing school events and activities.
Perform any other duties assigned by the school management.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
Experience in office administration is an added advantage.
Photography and videography skills will be highly preferred.
Proficiency in Canva, basic photo and video editing tools, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Creativity with an eye for design and branding.
Good organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
