Chief Manager – Energy & Sustainability Services | HVAC, BMS, Digital Solutions & Sustainability

Role Overview

Siemens’ Energy and Performance Services (EPS) aims to deliver end-to-end Smart Sustainability Programs through solutions in HVAC, AHUs, heat pumps, boilers, microgrid technologies, energy storage, renewable energy and digital solutions for commercial and industrial customers.

This position focuses on driving and developing recurring service business from the installed EPS solution base after warranty expiry, generating new AMC service opportunities, identifying additional service business from existing EPS customers and providing a single window for mechanical and electrical services to support customers’ decarbonization and energy-efficiency initiatives.

The role involves identifying customers across allocated locations and building a bridge between EPS Solutions Sales and RSS Base Business Service Sales, while developing EPS service offerings in line with Siemens guidelines. The position will work closely with EPS Sales, SER Sales and EPS Solution Development teams to build a robust customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Inspire customers to leverage digital technology in Mechanical Services and innovative approaches throughout their digitalization journey.
Develop and present digital transformation solutions for Facility Management Services, define projects and recommend implementation and integration approaches aligned with customer requirements.
Identify, engage and develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers through existing relationships, networking, personal connections, client references and industry events.
Develop Smart Mechanical Service Business growth plans, generate new leads and identify and qualify opportunities for Digital Services, Remote Connect, Digital Asset Monitoring, Building Performance, Energy & Asset Efficiency, Predictive Maintenance Analytics, Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) and Facility Improvement Measures.
Analyze the existing installed base and identify potential leads and upselling opportunities for Smart Mechanical Services.
Maintain an accurate view of account penetration, sales performance, customer satisfaction and sales funnel/pipeline, along with competitive market information.
Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to align offerings, develop use cases and negotiate revenue-generating contracts, with the objective of establishing Siemens as a trusted innovation partner.
Collaborate with technical teams to define prototypes and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for customer-specific development requirements.
Collaborate effectively across a matrix-structured internal network of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and collaborate with Sales, Solution Development and Service teams.
Understand customer challenges and requirements and develop suitable decarbonization and energy-efficiency solutions.
Understand applications across HVAC, AHUs, boilers, heat pumps, microgrid solutions, renewable energy such as solar, energy storage solutions and IoT-based digital solutions.
Promote integrated solutions combining Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Automation with a layer of Digitalization.
Develop optimum solutions addressing core customer challenges, with a focus on building recurring digital and service business.
Work with the Energy Solution Development team for technical support and clarification.
Prepare sales calculations and commercial offers.
Evaluate project risks and opportunities.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and vendors for site visits and optimum commercial/technical offers.
Engage with Operations teams during order execution to minimize cost overruns.
Coordinate with various Siemens cross-divisional businesses to obtain optimum pricing for internal solutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Instrumentation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of experience in proposal, project or site management, preferably in customer-facing roles.
Strong ownership and result-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
Effective collaboration across businesses, vendor partners and functions.
Business-focused, proactive and collaborative approach with a strong focus on enabling sales and business growth.
Ability to engage and influence customers at multiple levels.
Domain knowledge of Electrical concepts, SLDs, engineering drawings, Instrumentation, BOQ reading and costing.
