Senior SEO & Digital Marketing Expert – AI-Assisted (Remote)

Bismath is looking for an experienced SEO and Digital Marketing Expert with AI skills to support the growth of our clients and our own agency.

This role is suitable for someone who is practical, dependable, and able to think independently. We are not looking for a person who simply knows the names of many tools. We want someone who understands the purpose behind the work, applies sound judgement, and takes responsibility for outcomes.

Role: Senior SEO & Digital Marketing ExpertLocation: Remote

Salary: 4.8 LPA to 6.0 LPA (₹40,000 to ₹50,000)

Employment Type: Full-time, PermanentWorking Hours: From 6:30 a.m. IST to support Australian business hoursWorking Days: Mon-Fri/SatStart Date: Immediate

Remote Work Requirements: Candidates must have their own laptop/computer, Internet and a quiet place.

Reports To: CEO based in Sydney, Australia

Experience Required

Minimum five years of full-time experience in SEO or digital marketing.
Practical experience using AI tools to support marketing and SEO work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and complete tasks responsibly.

Focus on useful outcomes rather than producing unnecessary reports, content or activity.

SEO and Digital Marketing Responsibilities

You will be responsible for practical, end-to-end SEO and digital marketing work, including:

Conducting keyword research based on search intent, competition and business value.
Reviewing and improving website pages, landing pages, blogs, titles, descriptions, internal links and other on-page SEO elements.
Identifying technical, content and website-structure issues that may affect search performance.
Planning and implementing realistic SEO strategies.
Researching relevant link-building and authority-building opportunities.
Monitoring website traffic, rankings, leads, conversions and campaign performance.
Reviewing analytics data and identifying useful trends, problems and opportunities.
Preparing clear reports that explain what happened, why it happened and what should be done next.
Supporting SEO and paid search campaigns when required.
Coordinating with content, technical and management teams to complete marketing work.
Recommending practical improvements based on data and business priorities.

You may also be required to support other digital marketing activities depending on business needs. However, you are expected to prioritise work carefully and communicate when timelines or responsibilities need clarification.

AI Responsibilities

AI should be used as a support tool, not as a substitute for thinking, research or accountability.

Your responsibilities will include:

Using AI tools to support keyword research, search-intent analysis, competitor research, content planning and reporting.
Using AI to create first drafts of content briefs, titles, meta descriptions, FAQs, outlines and schema suggestions.
Reviewing all AI-generated work before it is used.
Checking AI outputs for factual accuracy, relevance, duplication, bias, tone, originality and brand suitability.
Combining AI-generated suggestions with SEO data, business objectives and human judgement.
Using AI or automation to reduce repetitive work where it genuinely saves time.
Supporting tasks such as keyword grouping, content reviews, internal-link recommendations and performance summaries.
Monitoring how the company, its services and its clients appear in search results, featured snippets, search summaries and AI-generated answers.
Keeping up with important developments in AI and search without adopting every new tool or trend unnecessarily.
Helping create responsible and repeatable AI-assisted workflows for the team.

Tools and Technical Knowledge

Experience with the following types of tools is useful:

Website analytics tools.
Google Search Console.
SEO research and monitoring tools.
Reporting or dashboard tools.
Generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or similar tools.
Basic automation tools.

You do not need to have used every tool in the market. We are more interested in whether you understand the work, can learn what is needed and can use tools responsibly.

The sample assignment will assess how you think, how you prioritise work, how you use data and AI, and how clearly you explain your recommendations. It will not be based only on the number of tools you know.

Remote Work and Performance Tracking

As this is a fully remote role, Hubstaff or a similar platform may be used to record work hours, activity and assigned tasks.

Employees are expected to complete agreed responsibilities, communicate regularly and deliver work to the required standard.
