About the Company

A leading pan-India bakery and patisserie brand, originally founded in Mumbai, is looking for Pastry / Bakery Commies to join its Bangalore Central Kitchen team.

The brand is known for its wide range of cakes, pastries, brownies, breads, croissants, cookies, desserts and savouries, and has grown into a large multi-city food business with a strong focus on quality, consistency and fresh production.

This is an opportunity to be part of a professional, high-volume central kitchen environment and build a career in the bakery and pastry industry.

About the Role

The Pastry / Bakery Commis will assist the bakery and pastry production team with the preparation and production of a wide range of products.

The role is particularly suitable for freshers, 12th-pass candidates and students who have completed a diploma or certificate course in Bakery & Pastry and are looking to start their career in a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the daily production of cakes, pastries, brownies, breads, cookies, desserts and other bakery products
Support weighing, scaling, mixing, baking, assembling and finishing
Follow standardized recipes and production procedures
Prepare ingredients and mise en place for daily production
Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, texture and portion size
Assist senior chefs with bulk production
Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment and production areas
Store and handle ingredients correctly
Follow FIFO and minimize ingredient wastage
Complete assigned production within the required timelines

12th-pass candidates interested in building a career in bakery and pastry
Freshers looking for their first job in a professional kitchen
Candidates with a Diploma / Certificate in Bakery & Pastry
Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in bakery, pastry, cafés, hotels, restaurants or central kitchens
Candidates with basic knowledge of baking and pastry production
Candidates who are eager to learn and develop their technical skills
Candidates comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Candidates willing to work shifts, including early morning shifts

Prior professional experience is not mandatory for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
