Job Role: Inside Sales Engineer / Executive

Reporting: Head of Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Inside Sales Professional to join our Kochi back-office team and play a key role in driving sales growth across GCC markets and international markets worldwide supporting our office located in Dubai, UAE . The role involves managing customer enquiries from initial interaction through quotation, follow-up, negotiation, and order conversion.

This position is ideal for a technically inclined sales professional who enjoys interacting with customers, understanding their requirements, preparing suitable solutions and quotations, and converting business opportunities into successful orders. The candidate will work closely with the Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to deliver a responsive and professional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete sales enquiry lifecycle, from initial customer enquiry through quotation, follow-up, negotiation, and order confirmation.
Drive revenue growth and enquiry-to-order conversion by actively managing sales opportunities and following up with customers.
Handle customer enquiries professionally through phone, email, and online communication channels.
Support customers across GCC markets, understand their requirements, and provide timely responses.
Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate products, services, or technical solutions.
Prepare accurate quotations, commercial offers, and proposals in coordination with Sales and Technical teams.
Follow up consistently on quotations, approvals, purchase orders, and pending opportunities to ensure timely closure.
Maintain and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring all opportunities and follow-up activities are updated in the CRM.
Coordinate with internal teams for technical clarifications, product availability, pricing, documentation, delivery requirements, and order processing.
Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers across GCC markets.
Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and up-selling.
Monitor enquiry status, quotation conversion, order progress, and other relevant sales performance indicators.
Provide timely and professional responses to customers while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Support the Sales team in market research, lead generation, customer follow-up, and business development activities as required.
Maintain and regularly update all work-related trackers, ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and readily available for review and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering (Electrical / Electronic or related discipline) or a Business-related discipline.
2 – 6 years of experience in Inside Sales, Technical Sales Support, Sales Coordination, or B2B Sales.
Experience in the Electrical, or Engineering industry will be an added advantage.
Prior experience working with GCC customers or markets will be an added advantage.
Strong interest in sales, business development, and revenue generation.
Demonstrated ability to manage enquiries and drive quotation-to-order conversion.
Good technical aptitude and ability to understand and learn technical products and solutions.
Excellent communication, customer handling, follow-up, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate quotations and commercial documents.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM/ERP systems will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive, target-oriented, and customer-focused approach.

Regions Supported

GCC Countries: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
The role will primarily support GCC customers and sales opportunities from the Kochi back office.
Experience in handling GCC-based customers, enquiries, quotations, or sales activities will be an added advantage.
