Job Description

We are seeking two experienced Test Leads/Test Managers to join our Capgemini team, based in either Wellington or Auckland. These are 6-month fixed-term contracts supporting the delivery of key banking initiatives across a range of digital and customer-facing platforms.

In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership and governance across multiple testing streams, ensuring robust test planning, execution, reporting, and quality assurance practices are consistently applied. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and delivery partners to coordinate testing activities across mobile, internet banking, and other banking services.

The successful candidate will bring strong banking domain experience, proven test leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage testing across complex, multi-team environments.

This role will see you work across:

Own and manage the overall test strategy, test plans, scope, schedules, governance, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder approvals.
Coordinate testing activities across project teams, technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Support business-led testing by providing guidance on test approaches, resourcing, templates, and ensuring test plans and scripts are fit for purpose.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across end-to-end business processes, customer journeys, integrations, data migration, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
Monitor test execution, quality metrics, and defect resolution, providing regular status reporting, deployment readiness assessments, and ensuring audit-compliant testing evidence is maintained.

About You

Proven experience leading and coordinating multiple testing streams within complex delivery environments.
Strong Test Management expertise, including test planning, documentation, defect management, governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
Highly organised and proactive, with strong planning skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
Resilient, adaptable, and outcome-focused, with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver results.

Desirable experience:

Knowledge of digital payment origination channels and online banking platforms.
Experience managing payment exception handling processes within a banking environment.
Banking and financial services industry experience, particularly across payments and digital channels.
