Full job description

Gini Advanced Care Hospital is an NABH-accredited multi-specialty hospital in Mohali, with IPD, ICU, OT, diagnostics, pharmacy and 24/7 hospital capabilities.

We have built a strong base in diabetes, endocrinology and complex medical care, anchored by some of the region's most respected clinicians. We are now entering our next phase: expanding specialties, building a strong physician network across the Tricity, increasing ICU/IPD and surgical volumes, and expanding into multiple hospital locations.

Our ambition is to build one of the region's most connected healthcare networks—combining hospitals, community physicians, outcome-focused care programs and technology.

The Role

We are hiring a Head of Growth to own hospital growth end to end. Your initial mandate is clear:

Grow Gini's revenue by 50%+ over the next 12 months while building a sustainable, profitable engine for IPD, ICU and surgical growth.

This is not a traditional hospital marketing role. We are looking for someone who can identify where profitable patient volumes can come from, build the relationships and channels required to capture them, and measure the economics all the way from referral to admission to revenue.

You will start hands-on and build a growth team as results come.

What You Will Own

1. Physician & Referral Network

Map and build relationships with physicians, specialists, clinics and nursing homes across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and surrounding districts
Identify doctors and specialties capable of generating meaningful IPD, ICU and procedural volumes
Build mutually valuable clinical relationships with specialists in medicine, critical care, neurology, pulmonology, surgery and other priority areas
Develop structured physician engagement, CME and clinical programs with Gini's senior specialists
Help build Gini's broader physician network using our care programs and technology as genuine value-adds for participating doctors
Track each channel from relationship → referral → admission → revenue → contribution

2. Specialty Growth

Identify specialties with the strongest opportunity based on local demand, available capacity and hospital economics
Help recruit and onboard visiting and full-time specialists
Build specialty-specific growth plans rather than relying on general hospital marketing
Work with clinical and operations teams to increase ICU occupancy, IPD admissions, surgeries and procedures

3. Institutional Business

Grow CGHS, ECHS, Ayushman Bharat, TPA, insurance and other institutional business
Improve utilization of existing empanelments while pursuing high-value new ones
Develop relationships with corporates and institutions across the region
Build corporate health and preventive-care partnerships where commercially attractive

4. Direct Patient Acquisition

Build effective local acquisition channels across Google, Meta, WhatsApp and other relevant platforms
Own conversion from enquiry → consultation → procedure/admission
Develop community programs, screenings, camps and partnerships where they produce measurable patient growth
Work closely with front-office and clinical teams to reduce leakage and improve conversion

5. Growth Economics & Execution

You will own a weekly growth dashboard covering:

Admissions ICU/IPD occupied bed-days surgeries/procedures revenue by doctor/source contribution by source referral conversion occupancy pipeline

We care about profitable growth—not vanity metrics.

You will work directly with the Founder and hospital leadership to decide where Gini should invest its next rupee of growth capital.

What We Are Looking For

5–10+ years* in hospital business development, healthcare growth, hospital operations or a similar commercial leadership role
Evidence that you have personally helped grow hospital or healthcare revenue—not simply managed a marketing department
Strong existing relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals, corporates or healthcare institutions in Chandigarh/Punjab/Haryana are a major advantage
Experience in at least two of the following:
Physician referral and engagement
IPD/ICU growth
Specialty or surgical program development
CGHS/ECHS/Ayushman/TPA business
Corporate healthcare partnerships
Healthcare digital acquisition
Commercially strong and comfortable understanding revenue, margins and contribution—not just patient volumes
Hands-on, entrepreneurial and execution-oriented
Comfortable being accountable for numbers
