Job Description – Relationship Manager (Schools & Institutional Partnerships)

We are building a technology-led platform that combines AI with the expertise and data of ReachIvy.com, a leading education and admissions advisory firm.

As a Relationship Manager – Schools & Institutional Partnerships, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with individuals, schools and colleges that are onboarded onto HelloIvy.ai.

Your role will sit at the intersection of Client Success, Relationship Management, Product Adoption and Business Development.

You will ensure that our institutional partners are actively using the platform, counselors understand how to leverage it, students derive value from it, and school leadership sees HelloIvy.ai as a long-term strategic partner.

At the same time, you will identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships, generate referrals and contribute to acquiring new institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage Existing School & College Relationships

Act as the primary relationship point of contact for assigned schools and colleges.
Build strong, long-term relationships with school leadership, principals, career counselors, coordinators and other key stakeholders.
Understand each institution's objectives, challenges and student-career guidance requirements.
Conduct regular check-ins, review meetings and relationship-building conversations.
Ensure partners receive timely support and have a positive experience with HelloIvy.ai.
Develop a strong understanding of each client's account, usage, needs and potential for expansion.

2. Drive Platform Adoption & Engagement

Lead the onboarding and activation process for new institutional clients.
Work closely with school counselors and administrators to ensure they understand the platform and its capabilities.
Drive regular usage of HelloIvy.ai among counselors and students.
Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions and orientation workshops.
Monitor engagement and proactively identify accounts where adoption is low.
Work with the internal product and technology teams to communicate client feedback and resolve issues.
Gather testimonials, success stories and case studies from successful school implementations.

3. Client Success & Retention

Own client satisfaction and relationship health for assigned accounts.
Establish regular reporting and review mechanisms with schools.
Track key metrics such as student registrations, counselor usage, engagement and feature adoption.
Identify potential client concerns before they become escalations.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve client issues quickly.
Ensure renewals and long-term retention of institutional accounts.

4. Account Growth & Upselling

Identify opportunities to expand HelloIvy.ai within existing institutions.
Introduce clients to additional features, modules and services relevant to their requirements.
Identify opportunities for additional student cohorts, grades, campuses or departments.
Generate referrals from existing school and college partners.
Work towards increasing revenue and lifetime value from existing accounts.

5. New Client Development

Build relationships with prospective schools and colleges.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, events, conferences, school visits and outbound outreach.
Conduct discovery conversations with school leadership and counselors to understand their requirements.
Present and demonstrate HelloIvy.ai to prospective institutional clients.
Work with the sales/business team to move qualified prospects through the sales pipeline.
Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, opportunities and follow-ups in the CRM.

6. School Community & Partnership Building

Represent HelloIvy.ai at school events, education conferences, counselor meets and other relevant forums.
Develop relationships with influential counselors, educators and school decision-makers.
Build a strong institutional network that can contribute to both client retention and new business.
Identify opportunities for webinars, workshops, career sessions and other engagement initiatives with partner schools.

7. Voice of the Customer

Become the bridge between schools and the HelloIvy.ai product team.
Collect structured feedback from counselors, students and school leadership.
Identify recurring client pain points and product requirements.
Share actionable insights with the product and leadership teams.
Help prioritize improvements based on actual customer needs.

Essential Skills

We are looking for someone who is relationship-oriented, commercially minded and highly proactive.

3–10 years of experience in relationship management, customer success, B2B sales, institutional sales, education consulting or partnerships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Comfortable interacting with principals, school leadership, counselors and senior stakeholders.
Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
Ability to understand a technology product and explain it simply to non-technical users.
Strong follow-up and execution skills.
Comfortable working with targets and measurable KPIs.
Good CRM and reporting discipline.
Ability to work independently in a fast-growing startup environment.
