Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager / Client Success Manager with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Account Management within the IT Services industry.

The ideal candidate should have a strong account farming background, with proven experience managing existing IT Services clients, building long-term relationships, driving client retention, and growing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

This is an existing-account farming role and not a new-business hunting role.

Key Responsibilities :

Account Management & Farming

Manage a portfolio of existing clients and act as the primary point of contact.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client stakeholders.
Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, technology requirements, and evolving needs.
Develop strategic account plans to increase engagement, retention, and account value.
Identify opportunities to expand the relationship across different services and business units.

Account Growth – Upselling & Cross-Selling

Identify and develop upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Understand the client's current IT landscape and identify additional services that can add business value.
Work with internal sales, delivery, consulting, and technical teams to develop appropriate solutions.
Contribute to or own revenue growth targets from existing accounts.
Increase account penetration and wallet share through consultative engagement.

Client Retention & Customer Success

Take ownership of client satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
Proactively identify account health issues and potential churn risks.
Develop and execute strategies to retain and strengthen client relationships.
Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution by coordinating with internal delivery and technical teams.
Act as the voice of the customer within the organization.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

Establish relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
Conduct regular account reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Present account performance, achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities to clients.
Understand client business priorities and align IT services accordingly.

Service Delivery Coordination

Work closely with project managers, delivery teams, engineering, and technical consultants.
Ensure client expectations are aligned with service delivery.
Support resolution of service issues, escalations, and technical roadblocks.
Maintain strong communication between clients and internal teams.

Must-Have Requirements :

4–6 years of experience specifically in Account Management within IT Services.
Strong experience managing existing IT Services accounts.
Proven Account Farming experience.
Demonstrated experience in upselling and cross-selling IT services/solutions to existing clients.
Experience with client retention, renewals, and account growth.
Experience carrying or contributing to revenue targets from existing accounts.
Strong experience in client relationship and stakeholder management.
Experience working with delivery and technical teams in an IT Services environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

IT Services Experience – Mandatory

Candidates should have experience working in an IT Services / Technology Services / IT Consulting organization.

Preferred backgrounds include organizations providing services such as:

Software Development
Application Development & Maintenance
Cloud Services
Digital Transformation
IT Consulting
Managed Services
Data & Analytics
Salesforce / CRM Services
ERP / Enterprise Applications
Infrastructure & Technology Services
Cybersecurity Services

Candidates from non-IT industries such as FMCG, Banking, Insurance, Real Estate, Retail, Manufacturing, or general B2B sales without IT Services experience will not be considered.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with any of the following is an advantage:

Salesforce
ServiceNow
Jira
HubSpot
CRM platforms
IT Service Management platforms

Salesforce experience in administration, consulting, solutioning, or integration projects would be an added advantage, particularly for candidates who can understand client requirements and effectively participate in solution discussions.

We are specifically looking for a Farmer, not a pure Hunter/New Business Sales profile.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
