Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance Management:
Ensure that the company complies with all applicable regulations, including SEBI guidelines, stock exchange rules, and other financial sector regulations.
Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards (SEBI, RBI, exchanges, etc.), and proactively adjust compliance policies and procedures accordingly.
Internal Policies and Procedures:
Develop and implement internal compliance policies and procedures to align with statutory requirements.
Ensure that the company’s trading, back-office, and client-facing operations comply with internal and external regulatory standards.
Compliance Audits and Monitoring:
Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments across business functions to identify gaps and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Implement controls to prevent non-compliance and report discrepancies to senior management.
Regulatory Filings and Reporting:
Prepare and submit timely filings and reports to regulatory authorities (such as SEBI, NSE, BSE) as required, including disclosures, financial statements, and compliance certificates.
Manage the filing of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Training & Awareness:
Conduct internal training sessions on regulatory requirements, compliance procedures, and ethical standards for employees at all levels.
Raise awareness about potential compliance risks within the organization and promote a culture of compliance.
Client Onboarding & Due Diligence:
Ensure that client onboarding procedures comply with SEBI and KYC/AML guidelines.
Oversee the monitoring of suspicious transactions and ensure appropriate action is taken in line with regulations.
Liaison with Regulators & Authorities:
Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, including SEBI, exchanges, and other industry associations.
Represent the company during regulatory inspections, audits, or inquiries and respond to regulatory notices, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documentation.
Risk Management & Control:
Collaborate with the Risk Management team to assess regulatory risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
Participate in the development and enforcement of risk management strategies for the company’s trading and broking activities.
Compliance Investigations & Dispute Resolution:
Investigate any potential violations of compliance policies, regulatory breaches, or ethical concerns raised internally or externally.
Assist in resolving regulatory issues and disputes, ensuring corrective measures are implemented effectively.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
Professional certifications such as NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) Certification, or a Compliance Certification (e.g., ICSE, Certified Compliance Professional) will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services or stock broking industry, with a proven track record of managing compliance functions in a broking firm or financial institution.
Experience working with regulatory bodies such as SEBI, exchanges (NSE, BSE), and other related authorities.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
