Job Title: Content Writer & Strategist

About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Writer & Strategist who understands content beyond surface-level aesthetics and generic captions.

This role requires someone who can think strategically, understand audience psychology, identify trends, and create content that actually drives engagement, reach, and brand positioning.

You should know how social media works, what makes people stop scrolling, and how to turn ideas into content that performs.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy

Build monthly content strategies and content calendars
Research trends, audience behavior, competitors, and industry content
Develop content angles, hooks, campaign ideas, and storytelling formats
Plan content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
Understand content performance metrics and optimize accordingly

Content Writing

Write engaging captions, carousel copy, reel scripts, ad copy, and campaign content
Create content that matches different brand voices and audiences
Write sharp hooks and retention-focused scripts for short-form content
Develop educational, entertaining, and conversion-driven content

Brand & Marketing Understanding

Understand positioning, messaging, and target audience psychology
Translate marketing objectives into content strategies
Ensure consistency in communication and tone across platforms

Collaboration

Work closely with designers, editors, and social media team
Coordinate execution of campaigns and content shoots
Brainstorm fresh content concepts regularly

Requirements

Strong writing and communication skills
Deep understanding of Instagram and short-form content culture
Ability to think strategically, not just write captions
Understanding of audience psychology and engagement mechanics
Experience in content planning and brand storytelling
Ability to research trends and adapt quickly
Strong organizational and ideation skills
Portfolio/work samples are mandatory

Preferred Skills

Experience with social media management
Basic understanding of performance marketing
Scriptwriting experience for reels and ads
Familiarity with AI tools for research and content workflows

What We’re Looking For
