JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Event Executive

Company: CEVEX EVENTS AND HOSPITALITY PVT LTD
Location: Kochi, Kerala
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to ₹55,000 per month
Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred

About the Role

CEVEX EVENTS AND HOSPITALITY PVT LTD is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Event Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events while ensuring smooth communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong event execution experience, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to independently handle events from planning through successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, weddings, conferences, exhibitions, launches, and other events.
Handle events from the initial planning stage through execution and post-event closure.
Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, expectations, and event deliverables.
Conduct venue visits and prepare event execution plans, checklists, and timelines.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, production teams, decorators, AV teams, fabricators, and other service providers.
Coordinate with Sales, Design, Production, Accounts, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Review and understand BOQs, layouts, designs, quotations, and client requirements.
Monitor event setup, production, branding, décor, lighting, sound, LED, furniture, and other event elements.
Ensure all event requirements are delivered according to approved specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Supervise on-ground event teams and coordinate manpower during setup and execution.
Handle last-minute changes, client requirements, and on-site issues effectively.
Ensure events are completed within the approved budget and timeline.
Maintain proper documentation, event checklists, vendor details, and post-event reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Guide and coordinate with junior event executives and team members.
Be available for travel and flexible working hours based on event requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

Minimum 4 years of experience in a reputed Event Management Company.
Strong knowledge of event planning and execution.
Excellent client coordination and communication skills.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of event production and on-ground operations.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.
Good knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Willingness to travel for events.
Flexible to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when required for event execution.

Language Requirements

Mandatory:

English
Malayalam
Hindi
Tamil

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant industry experience will be given priority.
