Full job description

About the Role -

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Social Media Manager to lead its digital storytelling and community engagement across all social platforms.
This role is responsible for developing and executing the brand's social media strategy to strengthen brand awareness, increase customer engagement, drive footfall, support tenant marketing initiatives and establish Outlet Mall of India as India's leading outlet shopping destination.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of social media strategy, content marketing, consumer behaviour and platform algorithms. The role requires someone who can blend creativity with data-driven decision-making to build meaningful engagement and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities -

Social Media Strategy & Planning -

Develop and execute annual, quarterly and monthly social media strategies aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives.
Build platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and emerging digital platforms.
Define content pillars that support brand positioning, customer engagement, tenant marketing, retail campaigns, events, shopping festivals and food & beverage promotions.
Identify opportunities to increase organic reach, engagement, community growth and shareability.
Recommend innovative content formats and digital initiatives based on changing consumer behaviour and platform trends. - Develop social media goals and KPIs aligned with business priorities.

2.Content Planning & Calendar Management -

Own and manage the monthly content calendar across all social media platforms.
Collaborate with the Creative Producer, Designers, Video Editor and Brand Team to develop engaging content.
Ensure timely planning, creation and publishing of content.
Translate integrated marketing campaigns into platform-specific communication.
Develop communication around -

Store launches
Shopping festivals
Food festivals
Entertainment events
Seasonal campaigns
Brand collaborations
Offers and promotions
Customer stories
Lifestyle content
Ensure consistency in brand messaging, tone of voice and visual identity.

3.Campaign Execution -

Execute integrated social media campaigns across all owned platforms.
Coordinate with Brand, PR, Influencer Marketing, Performance Marketing and Events teams.
Ensure campaign assets are published according to approved timelines.
Develop real-time content opportunities around events and cultural moments.
Manage social amplification for offline events and activations.
Support campaign launches through teasers, countdowns, live updates and post-event coverage.

4.Community Management -

Build and nurture an engaged online community.
Manage customer conversations across all platforms.
Respond to comments, direct messages and customer queries within defined timelines.
Escalate customer concerns to relevant internal teams.
Monitor customer sentiment and online reputation.
Encourage user-generated content and community participation.
Develop engagement initiatives such as contests, polls and interactive campaigns.

5.Social Listening & Brand Reputation -

Monitor online conversations related to the brand, competitors and retail industry.
Track consumer sentiment and identify emerging issues.
Coordinate with PR and Brand teams during reputation management situations
Monitor reviews and customer feedback across relevant platforms.
Recommend proactive communication strategies.

6.Content Performance & Analytics -

Monitor and analyse key performance indicators including -

Reach
Engagement Rate
Impressions
Shares
Saves
Video Views
Watch Time
Follower Growth
Click-through Rate
Website Traffic
Social Media Driven Footfall

Develop weekly and monthly performance reports.
Analyse high-performing content and recommend optimisation strategies.
Present actionable insights to the Marketing Head and Brand Team.
Benchmark performance against competitors and industry standards.

7 . Trend Research & Innovation - Stay updated with platform algorithms and best practices. -

Monitor emerging social media trends, content formats and digital culture.
Identify opportunities for trend-based marketing and moment marketing. - Recommend innovative campaign ideas to improve brand visibility. - Continuously experiment with new content formats and engagement techniques.

Required Skills & Experience -

4-6 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing or Brand Communication.
Proven experience managing social media for consumer-facing brands.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms.
Excellent knowledge of social media algorithms, trends and best practices.
Strong content planning and campaign management capabilities.
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Experience with community management and online reputation management.
Ability to interpret social media analytics and derive actionable insights.
Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills. - Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
