Within the GCS, the Global Sales team is tasked with ensuring consistency in sales practices, sharing best practices, and enhancing win rates on a global scale. Collaborating closely with designated Global Sales Leaders from various geographies and business units, the team is committed to executing strategic priorities that are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligning with the overarching strategic objectives of the firm.

Overview of the role
We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated professional who can work with increasing independence, bring structure to ambiguity, and translate complex information into clear insights that support commercial decision-making.
Work you’ll do
The professional will lead insight and analysis initiatives that combine qualitative and quantitative information to identify meaningful themes, develop executive-ready reporting, and provide recommendations that support sales effectiveness and business priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead commercial insight and analysis initiatives that support sales and business priorities.
- Distinguish between verified insights, stakeholder observations, and assumptions, applying sound judgment when evaluating the strength of evidence.
- Support the continued evolution of commercial insight initiatives by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information into concise findings, key themes, and practical implications for sales and business stakeholders.
- Identify recurring performance drivers, decision factors, market developments, and emerging trends across multiple sources and business activities.
- Develop concise, executive-ready reports, presentations, and summaries that communicate findings and business implications to leadership and non-specialist audiences.
- Lead, maintain, and enhance reporting assets, dashboards, and visualizations, ensuring information remains accurate, actionable, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with global teams, business stakeholders, and enabling functions to consolidate insights, share best practices, and support a consistent view of market developments and business priorities.
- Use GenAI responsibly to improve research, analysis, and content development, while maintaining quality, source transparency, confidentiality, and human judgment.
- Coordinate the day-to-day execution of assigned insight and analysis projects, including work planning, progress tracking, stakeholder communication, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members in qualitative analysis, evidence-based insight development, and the preparation of executive-ready deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to enhance analytical methodologies, reporting processes, tools, and knowledge-sharing practices to improve insight quality, efficiency, and business impact.
Requisite core skills
- Strong qualitative synthesis skills, with the ability to convert ambiguous and unstructured inputs into clear themes, findings, and business implications.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to identify patterns, trends, and root causes across multiple data sources.
- Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions.
- Proven ability to develop concise, polished, executive-ready presentations, reports, and analytical materials using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to use GenAI tools responsibly to support research, analysis, and content development, with appropriate attention to confidentiality, validation, and source quality.
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, professionalism, and follow-through.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across virtual, cross-border, and matrixed teams.
- Experience in commercial insights, market research, sales analysis, business development, consulting, or a related analytical role.
- Experience supporting market, business, customer, or sales-performance analysis is preferred.
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
- Education: Degree in in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, Economics, Communications, Data Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Work experience: 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in market and competitive insights, business analysis, strategy, consulting, business development, or a related commercial role
- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms
- Location: Hyderabad
- Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
- Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM OR 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with shift timings)
- Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
