Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing billing transactions and ensuring timely invoicing to our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to work with complex data systems, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Process billing transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Generate and distribute invoices to customers on a regular basis. - Review and verify transaction details, such as pricing, discounts, and contract terms, to ensure accuracy before invoicing. - Resolve billing discrepancies or issues by contacting internal stakeholders and customers to gather necessary information. - Maintain up-to-date records of all billing-related activities and documentation.
Maintain proper documentation and records of billing activities to support audits and inquiries.
Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to billing processes and systems.
Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams to address billing-related matters promptly.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's/bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Preferred 1 year of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field.
Experience in using billing software
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify errors or discrepancies.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to become flexible throughout the year to ensure coverage
Being open to learning new software
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of billing regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
A high level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
