Job Title: Retail Admin Manager
Location: Townhall, Coimbatore
Department: Administration / Operations
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Job Description

The Retail Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing overall administrative operations across showroom and corporate office locations. The role includes facility management, vendor coordination, compliance monitoring, asset management, store support, budgeting, and team supervision to ensure smooth and efficient business operations across all branches.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administration & Office Management

Oversee day-to-day administrative operations for showrooms and corporate office.
Ensure smooth functioning of housekeeping, security, maintenance, and support services.
Manage AMC renewals, utility payments, vendor coordination, and administrative purchases.
Ensure showroom ambience, hygiene standards, and infrastructure maintenance are maintained at all times.

2. Inventory & Asset Management

Maintain records of company assets including furniture, fixtures, IT equipment, jewellery machinery, and office infrastructure.
Coordinate physical verification and asset tagging across branches.
Maintain AMC and service records for CCTV, UPS, AC systems, generators, and machinery.

3. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of statutory licenses and registrations.
Maintain agreements, insurance documents, audit files, and compliance records.
Develop and implement SOPs for administration activities and monitor adherence.

4. Store Support & Operations

Support new showroom openings, renovations, relocations, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with HR, IT, Accounts, Operations, and Management teams for smooth store functioning.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of stationery, packaging materials, housekeeping items, and operational consumables.

5. Vendor & Cost Management

Identify and negotiate with vendors for services and administrative purchases.
Monitor vendor performance and maintain service quality standards.
Control administrative expenses and ensure cost-effective operations within approved budgets.

6. Team Management

Supervise Admin Executives, housekeeping staff, drivers, and maintenance teams.
Train and guide team members on operational discipline and service standards.
Monitor team performance and provide operational support whenever required.

7. Reporting & MIS

Prepare monthly MIS reports related to administration activities.
Track expenses, approvals, compliance schedules, asset movements, and vendor performance.
Present operational updates and reports to management.

Job Specification

Education:

Any Graduate (MBA preferred)

Experience:

5 – 10 years of experience in Administration, preferably in Retail / Jewellery / Multi-Store operations

Skills Required

Strong leadership and team management skills
Good knowledge of facility management and store administration
Experience in vendor management and statutory compliance
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, documentation, and reporting
Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple branches and operational activities effectively

Other Requirements

Well-organized and process-oriented approach
Ability to handle pressure and emergency situations
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel across branches if required
Experience in multi-location retail operations preferred

Salary Range

₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Based on experience and skill set)
