About the role

The Academic Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of academic activities across batches and programs. The role serves as a critical link between students, faculty, parents, and the academic team to ensure a seamless learning experience, timely course delivery, and high levels of student satisfaction.

Academic Planning & Scheduling

Prepare and publish monthly academic schedules for all batches and programs.

Coordinate with faculty to ensure timely execution of the academic calendar.

Allocate classrooms and manage timetable logistics to maximize infrastructure utilization.

Schedule replacement, backup, and extra classes whenever required.

Ensure adherence to the planned academic schedule and minimize disruptions.

Faculty Coordination

Maintain and monitor faculty attendance records.

Coordinate faculty schedules, class assignments, and availability.

Share class plans, schedules, and academic updates with faculty.

Track faculty engagement and escalate scheduling conflicts proactively.

Support visiting faculty and guest speaker sessions.

Course Delivery & Progress Tracking

Monitor course progress against the academic plan.

Track syllabus completion and ensure timely coverage of all topics.

Identify delays in course completion and coordinate corrective actions.

Maintain academic dashboards and reports for management review.

Ensure academic quality standards are consistently maintained.

Student Management

Maintain and monitor student attendance records.

Track absenteeism and initiate follow-up actions with students.

Ensure timely communication of schedules, changes, and academic updates.

Coordinate doubt-clearing sessions and additional academic support programs.

Support student onboarding and batch allocation activities.

Courseware & Learning Resources

Ensure timely distribution of course material, books, handouts, and online resources.

Track courseware inventory and student acknowledgments.

Coordinate with relevant teams for procurement and replenishment of academic materials.

Academic Events & Student Engagement

Coordinate webinars, workshops, mentoring sessions, and guest lectures.

Organize Mock Interviews, Mock PI, GD sessions, and assessment activities.

Support test administration, score publication, and result communication.

Coordinate academic competitions and student engagement initiatives.

Parent & Student Satisfaction

Serve as a key point of contact for academic-related queries.

Ensure timely resolution of student and parent concerns.

Conduct regular follow-ups with students regarding attendance and academic progress.

Facilitate parent interactions and academic review meetings when required.

Drive initiatives to improve student experience and satisfaction.

Academic Reporting & Compliance

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly academic reports.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, course progress, faculty utilization, and academic activities.

Ensure compliance with institutional academic processes and standards.

Support audits and academic quality reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.

Experience in academic coordination, educational administration, or student services is a plus

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets

Ability to manage multiple batches, schedules, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Work from Palarivattom, Kochi office, 6 days a week.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
