About the Role
We are looking for a driven and insightful Senior Business Analyst to strengthen our HR Consulting practice in Kerala. This role is central to how we understand, design, and deliver HR solutions for our clients across industries. You will work directly with client HR and business leaders to analyze their people-function challenges, define requirements, and translate them into practical, scalable HR solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong grounding in HR domain knowledge, hands-on experience with requirement gathering and process analysis, and the ability to thrive in a client-facing consulting environment. This is a high-impact role that will give you exposure to diverse organizations across Kerala and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for HR consulting engagements from initiation to closure.
- Conduct structured stakeholder interviews, workshops, and focus group discussions to elicit HR requirements.
- Prepare high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), use cases, and user stories.
- Map current-state (As-Is) HR processes and design future-state (To-Be) workflows and process improvements.
- Maintain a clear requirements traceability matrix (RTM) to ensure full coverage throughout project delivery.
- Validate requirements with clients and obtain formal sign-off before solution design.
2. HR Process & Organizational Analysis
- Analyze client HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, L&D, payroll, and employee relations.
- Conduct HR audits and gap analyses to benchmark current practices against industry standards and compliance norms.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation, restructuring, or technology solutions.
- Support organizational design projects including role clarity, grading structures, and reporting hierarchy design.
- Assist clients with HR policy formulation, SOP development, and compliance documentation.
3. HR Technology & Digital Transformation
- Support clients in evaluating, selecting, and implementing HR technology platforms such as HRMS/HRIS solutions.
- Gather and document functional requirements for HR tech implementations (Darwinbox, Zoho People, SAP SuccessFactors, Keka, Spine HR, etc.).
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure system configurations align with business requirements.
- Train client HR teams on new tools, processes, and systems as part of change management support.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to generate insights on attrition, headcount, productivity, and engagement.
- Build HR dashboards, scorecards, and management reports using Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Support compensation benchmarking studies and salary band design using market data and internal analytics.
- Prepare data-driven presentations for client leadership reviews and strategic HR planning sessions.
5. Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverable schedules for multiple concurrent engagements.
- Coordinate with internal consulting team members, subject matter experts, and client project teams.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and review meetings with client HR and business leadership.
- Proactively flag project risks and issues; develop mitigation plans and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting minutes, action trackers, and status reports.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field (mandatory).
- MBA / PGDM with specialization in HR or Strategy from a recognized institution (strongly preferred).
- Certification in Business Analysis: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent (preferred).
- HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, HRCI PHR, or CIPD are an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Malayalam and English is essential; knowledge of Tamil or Hindi is a plus.
Experience Requirements
- 5–9 years of experience in HR consulting, HR operations, or business analysis roles.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver HR solutions.
- Exposure to at least 3–4 of the following HR domains:

○ Performance Management Systems
○ Learning & Development (L&D) Frameworks
○ Compensation & Benefits Design
○ HR Policy & Compliance
○ HRMS/HRIS Implementation
○ Organizational Design & Job Architecture
- Prior experience working with Kerala-based organizations (PSUs, IT companies, hospitals, manufacturing firms, or educational institutions) is highly desirable.
- Experience in handling multiple client projects simultaneously is required.
Skills & Competencies
Technical & Functional Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards) and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization tools — Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Strong process mapping skills using tools like MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Working knowledge of HRMS/HRIS platforms used in the Kerala market.
- Understanding of project management frameworks — Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Familiarity with Kerala-specific labour laws, Shops & Establishments Act, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
