JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE : Guest Service Associate

DEPARTMENT : Housekeeping

REPORTS TO : Housekeeping Executive

General Responsibilities:

Ø Promotes a positive image of the resort to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.

Ø Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms under the supervision of https://setupmyhotel.com/homepage/hotel-management-glossary/housekeeping.html executive

Ø Ensures compliance with the departmental BRISOP.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.

Ø https://setupmyhotel.com/homepage/hotel-management-glossary/dust.html the room and furniture.

Ø Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.

Ø Checks and secures the rooms.

Ø Replenish amenities according to the resort standards.

Ø Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. hot water bag, nail cutter, etc.

Ø Always ensure the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

Ø Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of the day.

Ø Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, and floor.

Ø Replace facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities as per standards.

Ø Remove dirty bed linen and https://setupmyhotel.com/homepage/hotel-management-glossary/make-up.html the bed with clean linen.

Ø Replace https://setupmyhotel.com/homepage/hotel-management-glossary/laundry-room.html bags and slips.

Ø Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction https://setupmyhotel.com/homepage/hotel-management-glossary/score.html.

Ø Responsible for providing turndown service as per standards.

Ø Highlight any pending issues to the Executive timely.

Ø Lost and Found items received from room to be handed over to the Housekeeping desk timely and not wait till the end of the shift.

Ø Perform any other duties as assigned by the Shift in charge.

Ø Maintain all machines assigned in the respective area with proper care.

Ø Report all missing items from rooms timely for further action and records.

Ø Maintain confidentiality of the guests in the resorts, by not leaving any data, reports related to the guests unattended in any guest area.

Ø Make sure daily section records book is maintained professionally or as instructed.

Ø Responsible for achieving a score of 90% in RENARD audit for Floor/Public area operations and take necessary action for the shortcomings for standard compliance.

Ø Super cleaning one room a day per section shall be an important process in maintaining guest rooms.
