Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and hands-on Social Media Manager with 2–4 years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably for D2C, e-commerce, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, FMCG, or other consumer-facing brands.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with a digital/social media agency, managing multiple client accounts, developing social media strategies, coordinating content creation, and driving engagement and growth across platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management

Manage and execute social media strategies for multiple client/brand accounts.
Handle day-to-day management of platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
Develop and maintain monthly social media content calendars.
Plan and execute content aligned with brand objectives, campaigns, and target audiences.
Manage complete social media execution from content planning to publishing and performance tracking.
Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and overall community engagement.

Content & Creative Coordination

Develop creative content ideas, concepts, captions, hooks, and social media copy.
Work closely with graphic designers, video editors, content writers, and other creative teams.
Provide clear creative briefs for reels, static posts, carousels, stories, videos, and campaign assets.
Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, trending audio, memes, and emerging content formats.
Ensure content is consistent with the brand's tone, positioning, and visual identity.

D2C & Brand Growth

Develop social media strategies specifically designed to support D2C/e-commerce brand growth.
Understand customer personas, buying behaviour, and social media trends relevant to consumer brands.
Create content strategies focused on engagement, reach, community building, traffic, and conversions.
Collaborate with performance marketing teams to align organic social media activities with paid campaigns.
Identify opportunities for influencer collaborations and other social-first growth initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

Track and analyse social media performance on a regular basis.
Monitor key metrics including:
Reach
Engagement
Followers
Engagement rate
Video/Reel views
Website traffic
Leads/conversions
Prepare monthly/weekly social media performance reports.
Identify what is working and make data-driven recommendations for improving content performance.
Conduct competitor and industry analysis to identify opportunities and trends.

Required Skills

2–4 years of hands-on experience in Social Media Management.
Prior experience working with a digital/social media agency is mandatory/preferred.
Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts/brands.
Experience handling D2C/e-commerce brands is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
Strong understanding of social media content strategy and audience engagement.
Excellent copywriting and content ideation skills.
Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
Good communication and client/stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.

Candidates who have previously managed D2C, e-commerce, beauty, skincare, fashion, lifestyle, FMCG, food, or other consumer brands will be given preference.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be creative, proactive, trend-aware, commercially minded, and comfortable managing social media accounts independently.

We are specifically looking for someone who has actually managed social media accounts for brands/clients, rather than candidates whose experience is limited to content creation or personal social media management.

Compensation

₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, agency exposure, portfolio, and interview performance.
