B2C Admissions Counsellor

About the Role

AE Global Group is looking for a dynamic, target-oriented and student-focused B2C Admissions Counsellor to join our student recruitment team.

The candidate will be responsible for handling incoming student enquiries, understanding their academic and career goals, counselling them on suitable international education opportunities, and converting qualified leads into applications and successful enrolments.

The role requires a combination of strong counselling, sales, follow-up, relationship management and admission coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Calling

Handle leads generated through digital marketing, website, social media, campaigns and other B2C channels.
Make timely calls and follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
Understand the student's academic background, career goals, budget and preferred destination.
Maintain regular follow-up until application/enrolment.

2. Student Counselling

Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
Recommend suitable countries, universities, courses and study pathways based on the student's profile.
Explain eligibility criteria, intakes, tuition fees, scholarships and admission requirements.
Handle student and parent objections professionally and provide appropriate solutions.

3. B2C Sales & Conversion

Convert qualified leads into applications and enrolments.
Maintain a strong lead-to-application and application-to-enrolment conversion ratio.
Achieve assigned monthly counselling, application, enrolment and revenue targets.
Use consultative selling techniques to close admissions while maintaining a student-first approach.

4. Application & Admission Coordination

Guide students through the complete application process.
Assist students with documentation and application requirements.
Coordinate with the admissions/processing team for application submission, offer letters and further formalities.
Ensure students receive timely updates throughout the admission journey.

5. CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of all calls, counselling sessions, follow-ups and applications in the CRM.
Update lead status regularly.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
Ensure no assigned lead remains unattended or without proper follow-up.

6. Relationship Management

Build strong and professional relationships with students and parents.
Maintain engagement with students throughout the admission process.
Ensure a positive student experience from enquiry to enrolment.

7. Market & Product Knowledge

Stay updated on university programmes, admission requirements, intakes, scholarships and destination-specific developments.
Develop strong knowledge of AE Global Group's partner universities and available programmes.
Keep track of competitor offerings and market trends.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
1–4 years of experience in B2C sales, education counselling, EdTech, study abroad or admissions preferred.
Freshers with excellent communication and strong sales aptitude may also be considered.
Prior experience in international education / overseas admissions will be an advantage.
