MASUNIVERSE ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED is developing a nationwide edible oil sourcing, private labeling, institutional supply, GeM supply, and export-oriented business. The company is seeking a dedicated professional to build a strong procurement network across India and support the development of high-quality edible oil products under the company's own brand.
Job Objective
The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, develop, negotiate, and manage procurement sources for edible oils, third-party packaging partners, and related supply chain activities while ensuring competitive pricing, quality compliance, and uninterrupted supply.
The candidate will play a key role in establishing long-term relationships with refineries, processors, packers, suppliers, and logistics partners across India.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Identify and develop procurement sources across India.
- Build relationships with edible oil refineries, processors, importers, manufacturers, traders, and bulk suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
- Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, and annual supply agreements.
- Develop multiple sourcing options for each product category.
- Monitor market trends and procurement opportunities.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of products throughout the year.

The candidate should be capable of sourcing and managing procurement for:
- Refined Mustard Oil
- Refined Sunflower Oil
- Refined Soybean Oil
- Refined Groundnut Oil
- Refined Rice Bran Oil
- Refined Palmolein Oil
- Refined Cottonseed Oil
- Blended Edible Oils
Third-Party Manufacturing & Private Label Development
- Identify and onboard third-party packing units.
- Coordinate private labeling activities.
- Develop relationships with packaging material suppliers.
- Coordinate production planning and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company branding and packaging requirements.
Packaging Procurement
Coordinate procurement of:
- Oil Pouches
- PET Bottles
- HDPE Containers
- Tin Containers
- Corrugated Boxes
- Printed Labels
- Shrink Packaging Material
- Secondary Packaging Materials
Market Intelligence & Cost Optimization
- Track daily edible oil market prices.
- Monitor refinery rates and commodity trends.
- Maintain supplier comparison reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Optimize procurement and freight costs.
- Support management in pricing decisions.
Vendor Development
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor database.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
- Build long-term supplier relationships.
- Ensure availability of backup suppliers for every product category.
- Visit suppliers, refineries, and manufacturing facilities when required.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate dispatch schedules with suppliers and packers.
- Follow up on order execution and deliveries.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners.
- Resolve procurement and supply-related issues promptly.
Mandatory Technical Knowledge (Very Important)
Applicants must possess practical and working knowledge of edible oils and related quality standards.

Candidate Should Be Able To

✔ Identify quality deviations and procurement risks.
✔ Evaluate suppliers on quality, pricing, and consistency.
✔ Coordinate with testing laboratories whenever required.
✔ Understand commercial implications of quality parameters.
✔ Support procurement decisions using technical and quality data.
Preference will be given to candidates having prior experience in edible oil procurement, refinery operations, FMCG procurement, commodity trading, food processing, quality control, food ingredients, or related industries.
Experience
- Candidates with 1–5 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
- Experience in edible oils, FMCG, food processing, procurement, commodity trading, refinery operations, or supply chain management will be an advantage.
Salary & BenefitsSalary Range
₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per Month
