Full job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) Executive to join our team and drive international business growth.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying international clients, generating leads, communicating with potential customers, understanding their requirements, preparing proposals, negotiating with clients, and converting leads into software development projects for our company.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, confidence in dealing with international clients, and a strong understanding of IT services such as website development, e-commerce, mobile applications, custom software, SaaS solutions, and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business opportunities from international markets.
Find potential clients through LinkedIn, email marketing, freelancing platforms, business directories, referrals, and other online channels.
Communicate professionally with international clients through email, WhatsApp, phone calls, Zoom/Google Meet, and other communication platforms.
Understand client requirements and identify suitable solutions from our company's services.
Prepare and send professional quotations, proposals, presentations, and project estimates.
Conduct product/service presentations and online meetings with prospective clients.
Follow up with leads regularly and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Negotiate project scope, pricing, timelines, and commercial terms with clients.
Convert qualified leads into confirmed projects.
Coordinate with the technical/project team to understand project feasibility, costing, and timelines.
Prepare proper project requirements and hand over confirmed projects to the development team.
Maintain strong relationships with existing international clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, follow-ups, proposals, and conversions in the company's CRM or tracking system.
Monitor international market trends and identify new opportunities for the company's IT services.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong negotiation and convincing skills.
Ability to communicate confidently with international clients.
Good understanding of IT/software development services.
Knowledge of websites, e-commerce, mobile apps, SaaS, CRM, ERP, and custom software development will be an advantage.
Strong lead-generation and client-acquisition skills.
Good presentation and proposal-writing skills.
Ability to understand client requirements and communicate them clearly to the technical team.
Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Preferred Experience

1–3 years of experience in Business Development, IT Sales, B2B Sales, or International Sales.
Experience working with international clients is highly preferred.
Experience in selling software development or digital services will be an added advantage.
Freshers with excellent English communication, confidence, and sales skills may also be considered.

Number of qualified international leads generated.
Number of client meetings/demos conducted.
Number of proposals/quotations submitted.
Lead-to-client conversion rate.
Monthly project value generated.
New international clients acquired.
Repeat business and client retention.
