Job Description (JD) – Accounts Manager

Position: Accounts Manager
Industry: Salon & Beauty Industry
Experience Required: 5–6 Years (Preferably in Salon, Beauty, Retail, or Service Industry)
Location: As per Company Requirement
Reporting To: Finance Head / Managing Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our salon business. The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the salon, beauty, retail, or service industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounts, taxation, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management

Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, and profitability of branches.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily financial activities.

Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, and statutory compliances.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Support internal and external audit processes.

Payroll & Employee Benefits

Process monthly payroll and salary disbursement.
Verify attendance, incentives, commissions, and deductions.
Maintain employee salary records and statutory deductions.

Budgeting & Cost Control

Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor branch-wise expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.

MIS & Reporting

Generate branch-wise sales and profitability reports.
Prepare management reports and financial dashboards.
Monitor revenue collection, product sales, and service income.

Inventory & Vendor Management

Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for inventory accounting.
Verify vendor invoices and process payments.
Monitor stock valuation and inventory reconciliation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification preferred.
5–6 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Experience in the salon, beauty, retail, or service industry is highly preferred.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Payroll, and Financial Reporting.
Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple branches and financial operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy of financial records and reports.
Timely filing of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Payroll accuracy and on-time salary processing.
Branch profitability analysis and cost control.
Timely completion of audits and reconciliations.
Reduction in accounting discrepancies and financial risks.

Salary: As per industry standards and experience.
Preferred Candidate: Experience handling multi-branch salon operations, payroll, inventory accounting, and financial compliance within the beauty and wellness industry.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
