We supply a wide range of steel products to customers in the construction, infrastructure, EPC, engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, industrial, and project sectors.

Our business focuses on competitive pricing, quality products, reliable supply, timely delivery, and long-term customer relationships.

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Telesales Executive who can generate new B2B business, handle customer enquiries, build relationships with decision-makers, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

Job Summary

The Telesales Executive – B2B Steel Sales will be responsible for new customer acquisition, outbound calling, lead generation, enquiry handling, requirement understanding, quotation follow-up, negotiation, sales conversion, and customer relationship management.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in B2B telesales, inside sales, product sales, business development, or customer acquisition.

Candidates with experience in steel, metals, industrial products, construction materials, engineering products, building materials, or other B2B products will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities1. B2B Telesales & Lead Generation

Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective B2B customers.
Generate new business opportunities through CRM databases, existing leads, digital enquiries, referrals, market databases, and other lead sources.
Handle inbound enquiries and identify genuine purchase requirements.
Contact potential customers in the construction, infrastructure, EPC, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, and project sectors.
Speak with Purchase Managers, Procurement Heads, Contractors, Dealers, Fabricators, Manufacturers, Business Owners, and Industrial Buyers.
Understand customer requirements such as:
Product
Grade/specification
Size
Quantity
Application
Delivery location
Required delivery timeline
Recommend suitable steel products based on customer requirements.
Develop new accounts and convert prospects into active customers.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and continuously generate fresh opportunities.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and calling targets.

2. Sales Conversion & Closing

Follow up with qualified prospects until conversion.
Share quotations and communicate pricing, availability, specifications, and delivery details.
Negotiate professionally with customers to close business.
Handle price, quality, delivery, payment, and competitor-related objections.
Identify the customer's buying decision process and follow up with relevant decision-makers.
Convert enquiries into confirmed purchase orders.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and repeat business.
Maintain consistent follow-up with inactive and potential customers.

3. Customer Relationship Management

Build strong and professional relationships with new and existing B2B customers.
Understand customer buying patterns and future requirements.
Maintain regular communication regarding enquiries, quotations, orders, payments, dispatch, and deliveries.
Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with the relevant internal department.
Maintain regular follow-ups to generate repeat orders.
Develop long-term relationships with key customers and high-value accounts.
Collect market feedback regarding competitor pricing, demand, products, and customer requirements.

4. Sales & Order Coordination

Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Dispatch, and Operations teams.
Communicate customer requirements accurately to internal departments.
Coordinate regarding:
Product availability
Pricing
Stock
Delivery schedule
Transportation
Payment status
Dispatch status
Prepare and share accurate quotations and sales-related information.
Track confirmed orders until successful execution.
Coordinate payment and outstanding follow-ups wherever required.

5. CRM & Reporting

Maintain complete and accurate customer and lead information in the CRM.
Update enquiry status and follow-up activities regularly.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline.
Record quotations, follow-ups, customer discussions, and order status.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track:
New leads
Connected calls
Qualified enquiries
Quotations
Follow-ups
Conversions
Pending opportunities
Confirmed orders
Record customer feedback, competitor information, objections, and market intelligence.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification

Graduate in any discipline preferred.
Sales, Marketing, Commerce, or Business-related background will be an advantage.

Experience

2–3 years of experience in:
B2B Telesales
Inside Sales
Product Sales
Business Development
Customer Acquisition
Telecalling Sales
Industrial Sales
Experience in steel, metals, construction materials, industrial products, engineering products, manufacturing, or building materials will be strongly preferred.
Candidates with a proven record of achieving sales targets will be preferred.

Experience with Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.
Knowledge of steel products such as:

Understanding of B2B procurement and buying processes.

Experience in high-volume outbound B2B calling.
Basic understanding of steel pricing, quotations, margins, negotiation, and sales orders.
Existing B2B customer relationships/network will be an advantage.
