Job Summary
The UI/UX & Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly digital experiences as well as high-quality marketing and branding creatives.
The role requires a combination of UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, creative thinking, and an understanding of modern web and digital design standards.
The ideal candidate should be able to take a project from an initial concept or requirement through wireframing, visual design, prototyping, revisions, and final design delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesUI/UX Design
- Design modern, intuitive, and user-centric interfaces for websites, web applications, mobile applications, dashboards, and digital platforms.
- Understand business requirements and user needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Design responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Develop clear and consistent navigation structures and user journeys.
- Create reusable UI components, design systems, templates, and visual patterns to maintain consistency across projects.
- Review existing websites and applications to identify UI/UX issues, usability problems, visual inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Apply UX principles to improve usability, accessibility, engagement, and overall user experience.
- Create interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and user interactions to stakeholders and developers.
- Work closely with developers during implementation to ensure the final product accurately represents the approved design.
- Review implemented interfaces and provide design feedback to ensure quality, responsiveness, and consistency.
Graphic & Visual Design
- Create professional and engaging graphics for social media platforms, digital advertisements, marketing campaigns, websites, presentations, brochures, banners, and promotional materials.
- Develop creative concepts based on marketing objectives, campaign requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Design visual assets that effectively communicate the company's products, services, and brand message.
- Maintain consistency across branding, typography, colour palettes, imagery, layouts, icons, and other visual elements.
- Create website banners, landing-page graphics, promotional creatives, campaign assets, and other digital marketing materials.
- Adapt creative designs into different formats and dimensions required for various digital platforms.
- Work with the marketing and content teams to convert campaign ideas and content into visually compelling creatives.
Collaboration & Project Execution
- Collaborate with developers, digital marketing specialists, SEO professionals, content writers, and management to understand project requirements.
- Participate in design discussions and contribute creative ideas to improve projects and campaigns.
- Present design concepts and clearly explain design decisions to internal stakeholders.
- Incorporate feedback professionally and make necessary revisions while maintaining design quality.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks according to business requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain organized design files, assets, components, and project documentation.
- Ensure all final designs meet professional standards before delivery.
- Continuously research and stay updated with UI/UX, graphic design, web design, branding, and digital product trends.
Required SkillsUI/UX Skills
- Strong practical understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centered design.
- Proficiency in Figma for UI design, wireframing, prototyping, components, Auto Layout, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of user flows, user journeys, interaction design, usability, and information architecture.
- Ability to create responsive and scalable designs for different screen sizes.
- Good understanding of design hierarchy, spacing, grids, alignment, consistency, and interaction patterns.
- Understanding of basic UX research, competitor analysis, and usability principles.
- Ability to identify user experience problems and propose practical design solutions.
- Knowledge of accessibility and modern web design standards will be an advantage.
Graphic Design Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of Canva and other modern creative tools.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, visual hierarchy, branding, and layout design.
- Ability to create professional creatives for social media, advertisements, websites, marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Strong visual sense with the ability to maintain consistency across multiple creative formats.
- Ability to develop original creative concepts rather than relying solely on templates.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS and how UI designs are translated into front-end development will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of responsive design and modern web interfaces.
- Ability to prepare properly structured and developer-friendly design files.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor visual and usability inconsistencies.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within deadlines.
- Ability to understand written briefs and convert them into polished visual solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking abilities.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and design methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical skills and an exceptional portfolio may also be considered.
- Professional experience in web design, digital marketing, branding, or product design will be an advantage.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating both UI/UX and Graphic Design projects is required for experienced candidates.
