About GetSetGo

GetSetGo is a premium, service-led travel advisory and concierge brand specialising in customised leisure travel, corporate travel, group movements and MICE.

We are now expanding our MICE vertical and are looking for a Sales Intern who is enthusiastic about sales, travel, client relationships and business development.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in B2B sales, corporate travel and MICE and learn how travel opportunities are developed from the first enquiry to final conversion.

About the Role

As a Sales Intern, you will support our team in identifying new business opportunities, following up with corporate clients, understanding travel requirements and assisting in converting enquiries into confirmed business.

You will get hands-on exposure to corporate travel, incentive groups, conferences, offsites, meetings and group travel, while working closely with the Sales and Operations teams.

The role will involve both lead generation and relationship management, with opportunities to develop business through referrals, existing contacts and new corporate connections.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate leads for corporate travel and MICE business.
Assist in developing new corporate relationships through calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals and networking.
Follow up with existing leads, enquiries and business connections.
Understand client requirements, budgets, group sizes and travel objectives.
Assist in creating travel proposals, presentations, itineraries and quotations.
Research suitable destinations, hotels, venues, experiences and activities.
Coordinate with the Operations Team, hotels, DMCs and suppliers for availability and costing.
Support the Sales Team in client presentations, negotiations and follow-ups.
Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing clients.
Track enquiries, follow-ups, proposals and conversions.
Assist in developing repeat business and long-term corporate relationships.
Share new destination ideas, hotel/venue trends and MICE opportunities with the Marketing Team.
Coordinate with the Operations Team after confirmation to ensure a smooth client experience.

What We Are Looking For

Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, Travel or MICE.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good spoken and written in English.
Confident, energetic and comfortable speaking with clients.
Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to make calls, meet prospects and actively develop business.
Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
Ability to research destinations, hotels and travel products.
A proactive, target-oriented and positive attitude.
Freshers and candidates with internship experience in sales, travel, hospitality or business development are welcome.

Candidates who have:

Existing contacts in corporates, HR, administration, events or business communities.
Experience in sales, telecalling, business development or travel.
Knowledge of corporate travel or MICE.
Strong networking and referral-building abilities.
