HR / RECRUITMENT INTERN

Internship Duration: 2–3 Months

About the Role

V Support Solutions is looking for an HR / Recruitment Intern to support end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple client requirements and industries.

The intern will receive practical exposure to candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate engagement, recruitment marketing, recruitment MIS and joining follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Understand client job requirements and analyse job descriptions to identify the required qualification, experience, skills and candidate profile.
Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, professional networks, social media groups and other online channels.
Search and identify suitable candidate profiles based on job requirements.
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates against defined selection criteria.
Conduct initial telephonic screening and assess candidate suitability.
Communicate job details, responsibilities, location, salary range and other relevant information to candidates.
Coordinate candidate interviews with clients and hiring teams.
Follow up with candidates throughout the interview and selection process.
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
Track candidate status from sourcing through interview, selection and joining.
Support candidate documentation and onboarding activities.
Assist in preparing recruitment MIS and daily/weekly recruitment reports.
Analyse recruitment activity and basic metrics such as sourcing volume, screening, interviews, selections and joining status.
Assist in preparing and publishing attractive job advertisements.
Support recruitment campaigns through LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other digital channels.
Coordinate with internal team members regarding urgent and priority requirements.
Maintain professional communication with candidates and client representatives.
Conduct online research for talent mapping, competitor hiring and potential candidate sources.
Support recruitment-related content and employer/client promotional activities.

Skills Required

Good Tamil and English communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and candidate-handling skills.
Confidence in making recruitment calls.
Good internet and profile-searching skills.
Ability to understand and analyse job descriptions.
Basic resume screening knowledge.
Good follow-up discipline.
Basic Excel / Google Sheets knowledge.
Ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
Willingness to learn recruitment processes and work with targets.

Preferred Candidates

MBA / PGDM – HR or Marketing
MSW / HR specialization
BBA / BBM / Any Degree with strong interest in HR and recruitment
Final-year students and fresh graduates may apply.

Ideal Candidate

A proactive student or fresher who wants hands-on experience in recruitment and HR operations and is comfortable communicating with candidates, searching profiles online, analysing requirements and following up consistently.

Stipend

Performance-Based Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹25,000 per month, based on performance and internship contribution.

The stipend structure will be discussed during the selection process and will depend on the intern’s performance, productivity, and overall contribution during the internship.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
