Job Title: Multi Skilled Technician (MST)
Department: Engineering & Maintenance
Reports To: Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer

Job Summary

The Multi Skilled Technician (MST) is responsible for maintaining the property's engineering systems and ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role requires expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance while delivering excellent support to hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Attend and resolve guest maintenance complaints promptly and professionally.
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and utility equipment.
Repair and maintain lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, fans, and electrical panels.
Carry out plumbing repairs, including taps, pipelines, flush systems, and drainage.
Perform basic carpentry, painting, polishing, and civil maintenance work.
Monitor the operation of generators, water pumps, STP, WTP, and other utility equipment.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment servicing.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company SOPs.
Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance when required.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Support emergency maintenance requirements and breakdowns.

Required Skills

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer knowledge for maintenance reporting.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
Certification in electrical or HVAC is an added advantage.

Experience

0–2 years: Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may apply.
2–5 years: Experience in hotels, resorts, hospitals, commercial buildings, or facility management preferred.
